Last week, Sharon Osbourne got in a heated discussion with The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood after tweeting her defense of controversial British personality, Piers Morgan.
Piers, who claimed he didn’t believe Meghan Markle’s mental health claims during her Oprah interview, left Good Morning Britain after intense backlash. Sharon then took it upon herself to tweet her support of Piers.
Now, an investigation is being launched into the alleged racist and bullying behavior Sharon has displayed over the years on The Talk .
Fans were angry with Sharon after her on-air confrontation with *The Talk* co-host, Sheryl Underwood.
Sheryl became emotional trying to explain how Sharon’s support could be misconstrued, Sharon became angry.
“I will ask you again Sheryl, I’ve been asking you during the break and I’m asking you again, and don’t try and cry cause if anyone should be crying it should be me.”
Remaining calm, Sheryl explained: “Once you say, ‘I stand by my friend,’ then people think you must agree with what he is saying.”
“It is not the exact words of racism, it’s the implication and the reaction to it,” she continued.
“To not want to address that because she is a Black woman, and to try to dismiss it or to make it seem less than what it is,” she added.
The show went on hiatus following the controversial episode as an “internal review” was launched.
In the past few days, a series of racist allegations against Sharon have been published.

A Tuesday report from journalist Yashar Ali alleges that the 68-year-old referred to former The Talk co-host Julie Chen as “wonton” and “slanty eyes.” Yashar cited multiple unnamed sources, as well as another former The Talk co-host, Leah Remini.
Now, Sharon’s publicist is speaking out against the claims.
“The only thing worse than a disgruntled former employee is a disgruntled former talk show host. For 11 years Sharon has been kind, collegial and friendly with her hosts as evidenced by throwing them parties, inviting them to her home in the U.K. and other gestures of kindness too many to name,” the statement began, as per People .
“Sharon is disappointed but unfazed and hardly surprised by the lies, the recasting of history and the bitterness coming out at this moment,” the statement continued.
“She will survive this, as she always has and her heart will remain open and good, because she refuses to let others take her down. She thanks her family, friends and fans for standing by her and knowing her true nature.”
