Many women have experienced being catcalled or being hit on in their life, without flirting or initiating anything.
Sometimes , women are on the receiving end of unsolicited comments or even advances from strangers, people they know, or anyone, really. It’s uncomfortable for many women to have to fear the possibility of assault or unwanted advances , but many are opening up about their own experiences and sharing their stories.
Making negative comments about their chest size.
transcendentseawitch said that she is “well aware” that she has a small chest, and she’s tired of men asking her if she has had breast cancer and surgery to explain “why her chest is so small.” Frankly, it’s rude and uncalled for.
The weight comments.
TrinaExotic says that she constantly has to hear from other people that she is “too skinny” and that she should eat more.
It’s annoying to feel like you’re always being picked apart, either too skinny or too fat.
Others feel the same about being “too thin.”
“I am way overweight and cringe every time someone comments on my work partners’ weight. She is just a very thin person who just has a hard time gaining weight. No one says anything to me about my weight and I don’t understand why they think it is appropriate to comment on hers,” said SleevieNicks.
Anything about acne or pimples.
Asthrayheart said she is tired of hearing about her skincare and her acne.
She says she has acne and many people ask if she washes her face a lot or if she takes care of her skin at all.
“That backside though.”
Many women also complain that they always receive comments on their backside, how big their butt is, and tons of other things about their butts.
Women are sick and tired of hearing about their backside.
Some people don’t like “big boobs.”
“I think the worst thing I get is guys completely unsolicited telling me that they’re not into big boobs. Like… okay? I literally just started speaking to you and I’m not interested in the first place. Such a bizarre thing,” said unluckyshamrock.
It’s none of your business.
quantoseibella, and many other women, said that the worst comment they receive from people is “what is your cup size?”
To be honest, that’s nobody’s business and we don’t need to tell anyone anything if we don’t want to.
Some women get comments about their hair, too.
frankenb00ts said that when she worked in retail, she had very long hair that went down to her butt, and people commented on the length of her hair all of the time.
We get it, her hair is long.
How pale some ladies are.
BEY0NCE_PAD_THAI said that she is very fair-skinned, and all of the time people comment on how pale her skin is.
As a kid, she said she hated all of the negative comments about how fair-skinned she is and how pale she was, but, now she appreciates it because she’s healthy and skin-cancer-free.
Always with the comments on the chest.
AikoG84 said that she is always told “Wow, your tits are huge,” no matter where she is or who it is.
Girls with big boobs are always told that their boobs are huge, there’s no way around it.

She said that as a kid, she had hairy arms and even a hairy back and she’s always shamed for her body hair and for not shaving or waxing it.
Rude comments about their skin.

Anything about wrinkles.
Anytime a woman gets wrinkles, someone has to point it out or suggest that they get botox or use a cream to make it better. Why can’t women just age normally without everyone pointing it out?
