Part of existing in polite society entails a certain amount of going along to get along. We all do it. But sometimes, you just want to do what you want, y’know?

Some of us would settle for a bowl of dry cereal. Some of us would never indulge such a ridiculous request. But these two friends are willing to go above and beyond.

Usually, fire departments and police departments get along. But not always. These firefighters decided they’d had enough with the PD collecting ticket revenue by hiding behind the sign the fire department built fair and square.

Clearly some guy named Bob really wanted this guy to paint his fence. Fence guy decided to comply. But since he’s all about bucking societal expectations, he painted the fence his way.

It’s that time of year again.
Even when they’re given lots of freedom, kids are never truly free to do what they want. When it’s back-to-school time, they have to go back to school. But moms? They can do what they want.

Lots of schools and workplaces ban websites. It’s a little weird that school administrators banned a site for being educational, but I guess it’s a sign that theirs is the only acceptable form of learning.
Surely this is illegal.
Here’s the difference between people who say they’re bad and people who actually are bad. Those who truly are bad boys aren’t afraid to photographically demonstrate the true level of their wild ways.

Syrup-on-syrup violence, in your own fridge? This husband is clearly not afraid to send a message, even if he’s apparently not a great (direct) communicator. Maybe he’s more of a visual communicator.

This guy saw his opportunity and he took it. And, judging from the look on his face, he has zero shame and zero regrets.
Wrong side of the tracks.
One minute they’re spray-painting “swear words” on a wall, the next they’re running into a convenience store, yelling “shoplifting” and running on out. Kids these days aren’t like they used to be.

Here’s an exception to the list. The person isn’t doing what he wants, because what he wants is to remove the AT-AT outfit. His horse, on the other hand, is doing exactly what they want.
Must be a Simon and Garfunkel fan.
I don’t think this is what S&G were actually singing about, because Subway sandwiches didn’t even exist back then. But it’s still a fun tribute, and clearly the work of someone who DGAF.

Passive aggressive notes get passive aggressive responses.
I don’t think any workplace would be complete without one coworker who’ has an affinity for posting these types of notes around the office. But not everyone is just going to read something like this and move on with their day.
You did say there were free refills though.
To be fair, I don’t think anyone at this KFC joint really specified what he could use to refill his beverage, and since he’s still using a KFC product to fill up… I really don’t see a problem here.

The best part about this is that I’m pretty sure that woman is wearing glasses, so odds are those people waiting for her to look up from her computer can definitely see the reflection of her super important Solitaire game in her lenses.

Hey, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You can’t expect this guy to just skip out on eating because he has a lecture now, can you?

I’m mostly impressed by the quality of that poster. To anyone standing directly in front of this business, and perhaps slightly far away, that’s one menacing security guard they do not want to mess with.
It’s a bit of a different story for anyone standing to the side of it, though.

Word clouds are a good/lazy way to illustrate a thought or a concept. But when you’re the type of student who’s taken an oath to destroy word clouds, drastic action is sometimes necessary.

Cosplay can get pretty elaborate. But sometimes, if you really want to nail a character, less is more. I respect this guy’s costume, even if I don’t respect how he handled the whole Night King thing.
