I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but there’s definitely nothing wrong with being short. Some people are short, while others are tall. Some are even average height. But what we all have in common is, at the end of the day, we’re still people.
A teen on Reddit shared a story of how her sister’s friend, Stacy, will constantly pick on her for being short. This escalated to the point where, one day when Stacy tried to use the girl’s head as an armrest, the girl ducked, causing Stacy to fall. Now, the girl has taken to Reddit to wonder if she needs to apologize over it. She asked the AITA community for their input .

Apparently, Stacy Makes Fun Of OP Often.

Stacy is friends with OP’s sister and comes to their house often. Stacy will take any opportunity she can to tease OP about her height, nicknaming OP Frodo and using her head as an armrest. OP doesn’t believe there’s anything wrong with being short, and even sees plenty of upsides to it. But she still does not like being teased by Stacy. Stacy knows this but does so anyway.
One day, when Stacy tried to use OP’s head as an armrest. But OP ducked, which caused Stacy to lose balance and fall. Stacy wasn’t seriously injured, but did get embarrassed and demanded an apology from OP. OP refused, and Stacy said she wouldn’t come over again unless OP said sorry.
OP’s mother and sister both believe she should apologize, with the mother thinking she should be the bigger person. Her dad and brother, on the other hand, think Stacy got what she deserved. OP decided to ask AITA because she wanted outside opinions, and said she’d say sorry if the majority thought she should.
But The Comments Believed OP Had Nothing To Apologize For.

In fact, many believed she should’ve countered her mother by telling her it was “literally impossible” for her to be the “bigger” person.
Other short people in the comments empathized with OP.
They Also Felt That The Dad Was Right.

As the saying goes, “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” It’s not OP’s fault that Stacy was embarrassed at that moment. Especially when OP had expressed her discomfort with Stacy’s “jokes.”
It Also Seems Like Stacy Might’ve Actually Been Hurting OP.

If Stacy lost her balance like that, it’s likely that she was intending to apply a lot of pressure on OP’s head. OP even stated that Stacy would lean pretty hard, with her weight on one foot and OP’s head. Commenters believed that this whole ordeal was Stacy’s fault.
