Actress and mom of 5 Tori Spelling is facing backlash after announcing she will be charging $95 for virtual fan “meet and greets” this week.
The 46-year-old shared a link to the virtual event on her Insta page on Monday, writing: “Can’t wait to do my first ever virtual meet and greet Thursday, April 9 at 5pm PDT. Only 20 spots available so reserve your spot now. Link in my bio xoxo.”
Her initial post was not transparent about the fee associated with each time slot.
Fans only found out after clicking the link.
In a now deleted Instagram post, the details of the meet and greet were explained.

People could take virtual selfie’s with Tori as well as download a copy of the video call after.
For the most part, the feedback Tori received was negative.
“Of course it’s $95 because during a Pandemic we all have that to spare what a bummer…” commented one user.
“People are doing free concerts and you are charging? How about you do a lottery and do random pics for the winners!!! Please!” said another.
However, some fans were defending Tori’s hustle!
