Hallmark, bless them, is releasing dozens of new Christmas movies this year, and they’ve looked to the cast of One Tree Hill to help them out.

But Hallmark is giving us something to look forward to!
They have announced that a movie they have in the works will actually be our saving grace thanks to the cast of One Tree Hill .
Now, the Hallmark channel is pretty much known for its Christmas movies at this point.
You may be familiar with titles like A Christmas Prince , A Heavenly Christmas , A Royal Christmas , Let It Snow , and many many more.
They really capitalize on the whole “Christmas in July” thing, and I can’t say I’m super upset about it.
However, the network’s main television event is their Countdown to Christmas.
Every Friday night, the network is featuring a Hallmark Christmas classic.
Yes, you saw that right.
It’s not even the Fourth of July, Labour Day, or Thanksgiving and the Christmas movies are already coming.
I’m not going to sugar coat this, but, these movies lean more on the cheesy side.
Like I’m talking a hefty helping of piping hot Velveeta served over Kraft Singles, topped with extra Easy Cheese.
Yeah.
Nonetheless, there is a reason why there is so much hype around them.
They actually have pretty stacked casting.
Full House’s Candance Bure is a recurring actress in many of the films.
Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has been in a couple and Mean Girl’s own Jonathan Bennett starred in one.
This year, Hallmark is celebrating it’s 10th year anniversary!
Sure, a lot of people think they’re cheesy movies and all, but they are surviving for a reason!
To mark the occasion, they are releasing 40 NEW Christmas movies.
They are not p l a y i n g here, people.
I support this dedication to the spirit of Christmas.
And now, they’re bringing over the ‘One Tree Hill’ cast for a Christmas movie. And good ol’ Chad Michael Murray is the lead!
Can you just smell the nostalgia?!
The movie is going to be called ‘Five Cards for Christmas’.

This isn’t a few of the cast members’ first Christmas movie rodeo, however.
Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Antwon Tanner, and Robert Buckley already starred in one of Lifetime’s movies called The Christmas Contract just last year.
The plot for the new movie centers on Devitto, who plays a woman named Jessica, who sends Christmas cards to five people who have left a positive mark on her life.
Luke, played by Murray, is the son of one of the recipients of the card, and becomes Jessica’s love interest.
When Devitto shared the above photo, fans were already excited.
People are certainly here for it already, and a trailer or sneak peak hasn’t even been released or anything!
We can’t wait to see them all together again!
