Everyone has different goals in life, and they change as we get older. When I was younger, I wanted to be a supermodel. As I got older, I wanted to be a hot mom and be the envy of the local PTA.
Now, my goals are shifting again, and they seem to align with Candace Cameron Bure’s as well.
We all know Candace Cameron Bure from *Full House*.
The precocious and level-headed DJ Tanner won all of our hearts on the long-running sitcom, and then again on the Netflix continuation of the series as a newly-single mom on Fuller House .
I always thought I was more of a DJ than a Stephanie!
Candace then went on to essentially assume the thrown as the Queen of Christmas Movies.
Candace is a staple of the most wonderful time of the year, by which I am exclusively referring to Hallmark Channel’s Christmas season. Candace has starred in Switched For Christmas, The Heart Of Christmas, Christmas Town, Journey Back To Christmas, A Shoe Addict’s Christmas … I could go on.
She’s also never been afraid to get a little cheeky. I can definitely relate to that.
Whether it’s not taking any guff about her husband playfully grabbing her in an Instagram picture or speaking the truth when it comes to what she’s looking forward to the most after her son, Levi, just got engaged.
“We will love them unconditionally,” Candace said about her newest family member.
“We will want to be a part of [their] lives, want to be a part of the grandkids’ lives. I don’t want to do anything to rock the boat. I just want to be there to support,” Candace explained .
I think a little rocking of the boat is fine, but to each their own!
Candace said she was excited to be “the best mother-in-law in town.”
Candace also explained she was eager to become “the hot grandma!” Being a hot mom is overrated, and when you’re a mom, you have no extra time to really look hot — the hot grandma is clearly the way to go!
“It is so exciting to me. I can’t wait until the day I do become a grandma, whether that’s a few years or five years or 10, whatever, I love children,” Candace went on.
Candace also explained what her marriage advice would be for her kids.
“It’s always a journey. I think that’s what we will tell him. And obviously communication is key,” she said.
Do you think she considers us yelling at our husbands to get up because he’s been sitting on the remote for the past twenty minutes counts?

I have to agree — but remember, respect, love, and kindness look different for everyone! For us, it always includes a heavy, heavy dose of sarcasm, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
