The cast of the beloved soapy drama just reunited virtually and so many behind-the-scenes secrets were spilled!
Ever since the coronavirus pandemic began, many TV show casts have been reuniting for a good cause.
Whether they’re doing it to raise money for charity or just to spread some much-needed positivity, fans have been tuning in.
One of the first shows to do so was the ’90s sitcom, *The Nanny*.
Fran Drescher and the original cast got together over Zoom to perform a table read of the show’s pilot episode.
The cast of *Schitts Creek* got together to watch the series’ final episode over Zoom.
We’re not crying, you’re crying!
Movie casts have even been giving fans a blast from the past.
Frozen star, Josh Gad, created the YouTube series, Reunited Apart , where he brought together the entire cast of The Goonies .
This included Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, and director Richard Donner.
Last week, Mamma Mia costars, Christine Baranski and Meryl Streep, even got together over video.
Together, they drank alcohol in their white bathrobes and sang ‘The Ladies Who Lunch.’
Basically, it was everything.
The *Frasier* cast reunited to raise money for *Stars in the House*, which was created by SiriusXM’s Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley.
The daily live-streamed videos were created to ” support The Actors Fund and its services .”
One of the latest live streams to come out of this platform was the cast of *Melrose Place* reuniting.
If you remember, the soapy drama originally aired from 1992 to 1999.
It featured a talented cast, such as Marcia Cross (Kimberly Shaw), Heather Locklear (Amanda Woodward), and Andrew Shue (Billy Campbell).
They all took part in the virtual Stars in the House reunion, along with several other original cast members.
“This is the first time everyone’s gotten together in like, 8 years,” hosts, Seth and James, noted.
Fans were able to donate money as they watched to the Actor’s Fund and they could even ask questions!
Soon, the cast dived into all sorts of behind-the-scenes info about the beloved show.
For instance, Show made it clear that he wasn’t into his character having a relationship with Kelly Taylor (Jenni Garth) since they had a significant age gap.
“I thought it was a little creepy. She was a little too young for him. That’s how I felt about it. I don’t think it would fly nowadays,” he said.
Cross said that she had no idea her wig in Season 2 would be such a big deal to fans.
“I just did what they told me to do,” she said.

“I was flying back and forth from San Diego, so when it actually aired and it was a big deal, I was shocked … I’ll never be able to live that down.”
It was also revealed that the actors had to prepare to film two episodes at once.
This led Thorne-Smith to admit that she got confused about Jo’s custody trial storyline.
Not surprisingly, fans loved seeing the cast reunite!
“@LauraLeighton loved, loved, loved the reunion tonight!!! They should totally reboot #MelrosePlace .. and you and Doug are hilarious together!” another added.
For fans missing the drama, there could even be a reboot in the works…
That’s because Heather said that “it would be fun” to reprise her character!
