Yesterday, Counting On stars, Josiah and Lauren Duggar announced the birth of their “rainbow” daughter, Bella Milagro Duggar, after suffering a miscarriage this time last year.
There is officially another Duggar added to the collection!
Counting On stars, Josiah and Lauren Duggar have welcomed their first child since their miscarriage last October.
“A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren said at the time of the miscarriage.
“It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married,” Josiah added .
“And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.”
“I couldn’t believe it and I was hoping it wasn’t true. It was the worst day of my life,” Lauren continued .
She explained that their faith has brought them comfort while they went through such a hard time.
“God’s faithfulness to us in our most difficult moments has sustained us and brought us such love and comfort”.
In spite of the miscarriage, Josiah still made sure to wish Lauren a happy Mother’s Day via Instagram.
“To my dear Lauren… Happy 1st Mother’s Day,” he wrote .
“I have seen you love, protect, and how much you have given without getting anything in return.”
“I wish our sweet baby could’ve seen just how wonderful a mother you are,” he continued .
“Not all mothers arms get to hold their little one, or get to hear their baby’s laughs and cries.”
“You may have missed out on these things since our baby was called home to be with Jesus, but you ARE a mother . I love you Lauren! … #mamatoanangelbaby.”
Just weeks after that heartfelt post, they announced they were expecting again.
“We are so excited to announce that baby #2 is on the the way!!!!,” they wrote on Instagram .
“It’s hard to fully express just how grateful we are for God blessing us again with another precious gift!”
“So, as we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember (balloon as symbolism) our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven. God is so incredibly good!”
Last month, on the anniversary of their miscarriage, they honored the baby they lost once more with another Instagram post.
“Sending love ❤️ this month to any parent who has lost a baby,” they wrote .
“Losing a little life at any stage is heartbreaking and devastating and should not go unnoticed.”
“For all you mamas, yes, even you mamas who’s arms have never had the chance to hold your babies-you’re a Mama! Remember, that you are loved. You are a warrior. You are not alone. You are not forgotten,” they concluded .

But on a lighter note, in an interview with Us Weekly, they seemed over the moon about the upcoming birth of their daughter. “We cannot begin to tell you how much we are looking forward to holding this baby in our arms this fall.”
“Every good and perfect gift is from above and we are looking forward to this new season of parenting together!”
And finally, the wait is over! Josiah and Lauren took to their shared Instagram account yesterday to announce the birth of their daughter.
“Look who’s here! ,” they captioned a series of photos.
“Bella Milagro Duggar was born November 8th, 2019 at 4:24 pm, weighing 6lbs 5oz and 18.5 inches long.”
“Our hearts are so full!,” they added .
“We are so thankful for God blessings us with such a healthy baby girl!”
