I’m such a sucker for cool inventions — especially when they’re also useful. I think it’s such an important thing to be able to not only have something that looks great but have it serve a greater purpose. Am I right?
Well, if you’re like me, I bet you’ll get a kick out of these smart ideas. Where have they been hiding all my life?
1. This Bathroom
This bathroom tells you how many stalls are available and has indicators above each one to tell you if it’s occupied. Isn’t that such a great idea or what? No more trying to peek under the stalls to see if they’re free.
2. This Scale
I gotta admit, I don’t own a scale. But, I would use one if it came with my bathroom. This one actually folds right out of the wall. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like that before!
3. This Cutting Board
What if your cutting board came with a cut-out so you could put a bowl inside of it? This one does and it makes chopping and washing ingredients a total breeze. I need to get one of these.
4. This Oven
Wouldn’t it be cool if your oven had a way to let you know how long the preheating process would take? What do you know? This one actually has a progress bar that does just that. How smart is this feature?

Check out this modern drive-thru ATM. It has buttons you can press based on the height of your vehicle. That way the screen can be tilted accordingly. I didn’t know that even existed.
6. This Checkout For Parents
Going to the checkout counter at the supermarket can be a nightmare for parents. Why? Because the kids always want all the candy that’s lined up for sale there. So, this supermarket has one with zero confectionery items designed with parents in mind.

Oh my goodness, what is that? Is that a dog peeking out of a fence in a peephole of some sort? Indeed it is, ha, ha! I think this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Am I right?

Honestly, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a movie theater. I like my comfy couch, to be frank, ha, ha! But if there were more theaters that offered seating for two like this, I would totally go again.

This “smart” traffic light actually has a counter that lets you know when it’s going to turn green. So no more wondering how long it might be. Why don’t they all do this? I think that would be so useful.
10. This Parking Lot
Isn’t it so frustrating when you’re circling around in a parking lot looking for an empty spot? Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a better way? This one actually has lights showing you where all the empty spaces are. OMG, that’s genius!
11. This Measuring Cup
Wouldn’t it be easier to see how much stuff you’re actually pouring out if the measuring cup had slanted makers? Well, turns out somebody already thought of a way to solve this life dilemma. Let’s thank them for that.
12. This Dustpan/Broom Combo
Speaking of annoying things, don’t you hate it when your broom gets all those nasty balls of dust inside of it? This dustpan has a nifty comb that lets you get all that crap out of your broom. Genius!
13. This Doggo-Friendly Drinking Device
If you often travel with your dog, you know that having water is essential. What if you could bring a bottle like this with you that comes with a cool drinking device made just for your furry friends? This is a great idea for pet owners!
14. This Magic Pringles Tool
What if your can of Pringles came with a way to eat them without getting your fingers dirty? Well, this one from Asia does. It actually has a tool that slides out the chips for you. Wowza! That’s so cool.
15. These Bottle Openers
Why just get ordinary bottle openers when you can actually wrestle with these guys? Aren’t they so fun? I gotta get one or at least two of these for my fiancé. I think he would get a kick out of them.
16. This Protein Powder Scoop
Wouldn’t it be so much easier if your tub of protein powder came with a scoop that you didn’t have to dig for? Turns out somebody already solved this problem and designed one that fits like this.
17. This Ruler
Isn’t this ruler that comes with a pencil that fits inside of it so cool? I wish I had something like this when I was still in school —especially since I always used to lose my pencils.
18. This Toilet Paper Roll
This toilet paper company came up with a clever solution to cut down waste. Instead of using a cardboard tube, they actually make a tube out of toilet paper that you can pop out. That way, the whole roll, tube and all, gets used.
19. This Mug
If you love to have your tea with a biscuit you’ll absolutely adore this invention. How cute is it that this mug comes with a handy pocket you can put your biscuit in? I totally dig this. It’s adorable.
20. This French Fry Packaging
Isn’t it annoying when you get your fries but you have nowhere to put your ketchup? I hear you and I hate it, too. Say hello to this amazing invention. I hope all fast food joints get behind this.
21. This Faucet
I gotta admit, sometimes it’s hard for me to figure out the temperature in our shower. It would be so much easier if it came with a thermometer similar to this one. Don’t you think that’s so cool?
22. This Dog Leash
If you’ve ever had a dog that doesn’t get along with others you might want to look into getting a leash like this one. This way, nobody will have to wonder if it’s safe to approach the dog. I think this is brilliant.
I’m so amazed at all these awesome ideas here that can literally come in handy almost every day.
