No one likes going to the doctor, that’s just a fact of life. It’s as true as the truest thing you know. It has been my experience that doctors are very aware of this and try to do what they can to make people feel more comfortable.
The best way to do that? With some humor, for sure. I know having someone who is fun to talk to really helps to distract my mind from whatever terribleness is going to come.
1. I have only had to take two trips to the hospital, but both times I didn’t have to wait very long and it wasn’t because they were slow days.

At the time I remember thinking that I was really lucky, but looking back, was I? Either way, I lived.
2. Knowing some little personal details sometimes helps people feel connected to their doctor or nurse.

I’m really happy to see that Bette loves her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as much as she likes Bud Light. Priorities, right? She gets it.
3. I can’t imagine how stressful it is to learn how to be a good doctor or pharmacist. It’s a lot of pressure!

This pharmacist is a great teacher, teaching his student how to use the dispenser to give out candy.
4. Oh the dentist, arguably the most dreaded doctor of them all.

This dentist has a good sense of humor, though, and I bet that his tooth fairy costume is equally as amusing for children and parents alike. I know that I would laugh.
5. I always try hard not to look up my symptoms on Google. It would honestly be so scary to learn that I probably should’ve died yesterday.

The internet was probably invented to make doctor’s lives more miserable, or maybe to challenge their patience.
6. This one is so simple, the joke is just right there and yet so many of us probably would have overlooked it.

Sometimes it really is the little things, you know?
7. Do you see how much of a difference a healthy smile can make!?

It’s insane! Also, imagine having a doctor who was as good at art as they were at doctoring?
8. Is the doctor of the future? Is this how it’s going to be moving forward?

I can imagine that this robot doctor might have better bedside manner than a lot of human doctors.
9. If I walked into the doctor’s office and all the windows were opened like that, I would probably have a mild heart attack and then we would have a real problem on our hands.

10. I love it when people who are important and smart also know things about memes.

This is a perfect use of the greatness of the internet. I am also very guilty of being this person.
11. I’m not sure if this is a doctor for humans or animals, but either way, I’m into it.

I would probably apply to be one of his patients. His fluffy face just looks so trustworthy.
12. This prosthetic doctor has an absolutely hilarious sense of humor.

I bet he is a blast. At the very least, he is probably really good at sympathizing with his patients.
13. The best of anything where you can get a lollipop is the lollipop. Come on, people, get it together!

Tbh, I probably would have stopped reading the sign after I found out there was free candy available.
14. I would love to have a doctor who took my dislike for work this seriously.

It’s a real problem, you know? If I can’t make it into work because I don’t want to, that should be allowed.
15. There is no escaping Dr. Oz, no matter what you do.

I used to work in a tea shop and people would come in all the time on Dr. Oz’s recommendation.
16. Do you think this works for adults as well?

Because I have some serious deeply lingering fears that I would like addressed…oh wait…that’s just what an antidepressant is for. Never mind.
