Isn’t it so funny that as kids , we were curious about everything? We would open things up and look inside with wonder. I guess as you get older, that childhood curiosity tends to fade away. And we pretty much think we know everything. Am I right?
Well, that’s the wrong way to look at things, because as it turns out, there are plenty of hidden gems out there.
1. This Escalator
Let me ask you a question: have you ever seen an escalator being built? Well, if not, now’s your chance. Is this something you would have expected? I definitely don’t think so. I don’t know how they do it, but it looks so cool, no?
2. This Lighter Inside Of A Lighter
If you ever wondered what the inside of a BBQ lighter looks like, here’s your chance. As it turns out, there’s a smaller lighter inside of it. How interesting, huh?
3. This Grape Surprise
This person bit into a grape only to discover that there was another fully grown grape inside of it. Isn’t it so fascinating when that happens? I guess these two grapes are some sort of twins, huh?
4. This Plant
Are you as fascinated by plants as I am? Well, then you’re going to get a real kick out of this. This is an actual inside of a plant. I would never have expected to see that.
5. This Phone Case
One would assume that the inside of your phone case could be lined with something else. Isn’t that right? Well, in this case, the person who looked deeper found an old toothpaste box stashed in there.
6. These Candies
Don’t be too surprised if you find out your favorite candies are only coated with flavor. That’s exactly what this person discovered when they found a clear and unflavored Mike and Ike candy. Wow, I didn’t know that.

At first, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking at, but then the person who posted this picture on Reddit said it was a traffic light. I always wondered who’s got the meticulous attention to detail to do something like that.
12. This Dog’s Toy
I’ve seen this a lot with toys for dogs or cats. It seems that they usually stuff them with other toys, which is a good thing, right? When the animal rips it, at least you’ve got another toy to give to them.
13. This Rubik’s Cube
If you’ve ever been frustrated to tear by a Rubik’s cube, it’s sort of comforting in a way to see what one looks like when it’s been disassembled. See? It’s just a toy, it can’t hurt you — but it can drive you crazy, ha, ha!
