Did you know that the homes you have seen on some of your favorite TV shows are actually hiding somewhere in suburban America? Oh yes, they are. Usually, the makers of the TV show look for places that have some unique features that can further highlight the show.
HomeAdvisor came up with 52 of America’s most iconic TV homes and their real-life locations. So check them out for yourself.
1. “Beverly Hills 90210” – Walsh Residence
This show was my absolute favorite in the ’90s. So I would be psyched to check out the real location of this dwelling.
2. “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” – Banks Residence
This 6,438 sq ft. colonial-style mansion has an 88-acre lot. It was built in 1937 and, naturally, it comes with a pool.
3. “Dexter” – Morgan Residence
Dexter’s first residence was set at the Miami’s Bay Harbor Club condos until the studio built a replica. The real apartments go for $190k.
4. “Charmed” – HalliWell Residence
The exterior of this Victorian-era, Eastlake-style property was used as the HalliWell residence. But it was also used for Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.
5. “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” – Summers Residence
This house was perfect for Buffy’s family because it was built in the craftsman-style which added that cool, folky look.
6. “Breaking Bad” – White Residence
Due to the popularity of this show the actual owner of this property had to install a six-foot iron fence to keep his privacy.
7. “Big Little Lies” – Mackenzie Residence
This classy and traditional looking property was chosen to showcase Madeleine’s vibrant personality. The magenta interior paint makes it that much more special.
8. “Gilmore Girls” – Lorelai And Rory’s Residence
This traditional southern-style home with enviable wrap-around porch is actually located on the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, CA. So visit away!
9. “Modern Family” – Dunphy Residence
This traditional-style Cheviot Hills house got sold for a whopping $2.35 million because the new owners can still provide producers access to it.
