I know in theory we should not take any pleasure in these terrible wedding stories, but some of them are fun to read.
You might think that’s terrible but hey, if you’re in here, it’s because you like to read them too, right?

The boobs. Always the boobs.
“I went to a Catholic church wedding where the bride’s stepmother wore an extremely low-cut dress with very large fake breasts on display. The bride’s biological mother got very drunk and proceeded to make a speech saying, ‘I’m the bride’s REAL mom.’ Then she pointed at her own chest and yelled, ‘And these are also real,'” shared one person.
Kids say say the darndest things.
“My 4-year-old daughter and I were bridesmaids for my sister-in-law’s wedding, and they had just begun saying the vows when my daughter — very loudly — announced, ‘Mummy, I need to poo!’ It echoed all the way through the church,” one person said.
Runaway bride.
One person said that the bride didn’t even show up to the wedding and after two hours, she finally called and said that she “changed her mind.”
The mother said that he should have married the other girl, but “he thought she was too fat.”
No tables. No chairs.
Another person shared that they went to a wedding with no chairs and no tables. None. Zero. Basically, everyone had to put their drinks and their food on the ground and people were super confused as to what was even going on.
The sham wedding.
“My dad’s wedding to his second wife. She was a mail order bride from Ukraine. Just married him for a green card and to get an education here. Once she did, she divorced him took half of his assets and their house. The whole thing was a sham,” one said.
Never show the videos.
One person said that their sister went to a wedding where the groomsman shared a video from the bachelor party of the groom putting something up his butt. At the actual wedding. In front of everyone. What’s wrong with people.
No food left.
One person said that they went to a wedding where a lot of people skipped the ceremony and went straight to the reception and by the time they all got there, there was barely any food left for them to eat. Talk about rude.
Stripping at the wedding? Sure thing.
“I went to my former coworker’s wedding, and the reception was held at a lovely, high-end reception hall with golden chandeliers and tuxedoed waitstaff. Yet by the third hour, at least two of the groomsmen were dancing around with only their boxers on. We didn’t stay to see if the rest would follow suit,” one person said.
Crushing hard.
A wedding guest said that they went to a wedding where the priest had a huge crush on the bride and made it super awkward and obvious during the ceremony. So much so that everyone noticed and felt uncomfortable.
Eroticism in a wedding is definitely awkward.
“My friend’s name is Solomon, and when he got married, the priest gave a sermon on how erotic the Song of Solomon is in the Bible. He just kept going and going and going about how wonderfully sexual and sensuous it was,” one person said.
Don’t sing at your own wedding.
One person said they went to a wedding where the bride decided to sing as she walked down the aisle and it was a poor rendition of a Carrie Underwood song.
Also, the bride did not have a good singing voice. Yikes.
Being single at a wedding can be hard.
“I was the only single person at my friend’s wedding of 300 people, and when it was time for her to throw the bouquet, it was just the two of us on the dance floor…while 298 people looked on. Yes, I caught the bouquet. No, I have not recovered from that experience,” said one person.
One bride brought a surprise.
One person said that they went to a wedding where the bride ripped out and shared their daughter’s umbilical cord during their wedding ceremony.
And, she had the daughter there in attendance, too. Talk about way too much.
Sorry grandma!
“I went to a wedding in which the groom tried to throw a decently sized piece of cake at the bride, but the bride moved out of the way — so the cake ended up hitting my 76-year-old grandma instead,” one person revealed.
Congratulations…I guess?
“Instead of throwing rice, confetti, or even sprinkles, the bride and groom had their friends save all their empty Juul pods and throw those at them,” shared one person.
Gross. That one is just…gross. No thank you.
