OK, so a massive cheatstorm doesn’t count. But there are lots of strange coinciding events that aren’t the result of terrible romantic deception!

1. OK, let’s all try and ignore the sheer physical terror of this and focus on what the odds are that the dragonfly landed right there.

15. I wonder if beachfront food vendors have a deal worked out with the seagulls.

16. Apparently, real-life spiders are just as hyped for the next Spider-Man movie as I am.
Either that or they’re just (SPOILER ALERT) paying tribute to a fallen crawly boi.
17. See? How many times do I have to say it? Living near sky wizards is a huge pain.
Especially when they’re grumpy during the fireworks because they have to work early.
18. Believe it or not, this has actually happened more than once.
Apparently, the fireworks show didn’t have quite enough noise and spectacle for nature’s tastes, so it had to flex on us.
19. And for real, it’s not just their party pooping. All these grand displays of romance make us folks who can’t spray lightning all over the sky look bad.

20. Wow, this is probably the only time that it was lucky to park basically inside a playground.

21. I don’t like flies, but this trapped li’l buzzy boi got a bit of an “aww” out of me anyway.
It’s those big ol’ eyes. Just remind yourself that they’re actually tiny, creepy eyes.
But the minute that fly gets unstuck, all bets are off.
I swear, I will buy a Venus flytrap just to make sure. Y’all are going down, I’m not waiting for the spiders to do the job.

23. Considering how many cars must pass by this sign every day, I suppose this was bound to happen.
Still, I wonder how long it took for this sign to go from being genuine to sarcastic?
24. Sure, puddles can be a lot like clouds in that there are all sorts of things they can end up looking like.
But there’s still something pretty amazing about the fact that the one that looks the most like the U.K. was actually spotted in the U.K.
25. This situation is so beautifully ironic that it’s hard not to imagine that the driver did it on purpose.
They almost certainly didn’t because it probably got them into way more trouble than could possibly be worth it. In that case, thank you for your sacrifice, driver.
26. I always suspected that claw machines were rigged, but even when you win at this one, you lose.
I know it doesn’t make sense to assign human characteristics to machines, but I still can’t remember the last time I saw something so spiteful.
I won, accept it!
27. Considering how legendary Robin Hood’s archery skills were, this is probably what it looked like when he actually missed.
It’s one of the only times that someone could sheepishly say, “I meant to do that” and actually convince everyone who witnessed their blunder.
28. I know I’m not in the medical profession, but I’d be incredibly surprised if this happened very often.
Yes, a patient’s blood pressure and mean arterial pressure somehow managed to spell out “1234567.”
Are they secretly an android or something?
29. I couldn’t tell you why somebody shot this tree, but there are a lot of reasons for the results to surprise whoever cut it down.
Even putting aside that we don’t usually expect to find a bullet just chilling in a living thing, it’s also pretty amazing that they found the exact spot it ended up.
30. This image was posted by a student nurse from the day she was born.
What makes this such a mind-blowing coincidence is that the nurse holding her would actually end up serving as one of her instructors 20 years later.
How often does something like that happen?
31. This wouldn’t be so unusual if all these drivers belonged to some sort of club, but they’ve never met.
Another strange coincidence is the fact that these cars all happened to have the same color and more or less the same shape despite being manufactured by four different companies.
32. Wow, I can’t believe how sophisticated these graphics are getting nowadays.
While it’s hardly unusual to run across a pigeon while you’re playing Pokémon Go , it’s a different story when it both closely resembles the nearby pokémon and is standing in the same place.
Now we just need to find a turtle that can stand on two legs and shoot water out of its mouth.
32. It’s hard to tell how it happened, but somebody apparently shot this shell casing in mid-air.

And unless it somehow flew in front of somebody’s gun, those involved in this situation were even luckier than they might realize because that seems too close for comfort.
33. Here we have a pair of identical twins who married another pair of twins and went on to have two additional sets of twins.
Please don’t ask me to calculate the odds of that happening. I like my brain a lot better when it hasn’t exploded.
34. This Dutch Partridge Dog’s owner happened to meet another one while on vacation in Toronto.
That may not sound like a big deal except for the fact that only 200 of this breed exist in North America and it actually turned out that both dogs in different parts of the continent came from the same litter.
Yeah, now it’s crazy.
35. In case it’s not clear what’s happening in this image, the picture on this truck perfectly matches the background.
Even if it turns out that they were actually in Red Mesa, Utah when this was taken, there’s still a lot that could’ve gone at least slightly askew here.
Of course, it’s even crazier if they’re nowhere near that place.
I don’t know about y’all, but this whole thing has me worried about what other “convenient” events might happen to me.
Just remember, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean the world’s not out to get you.
