Jameela Jamil is letting the world know her 2020 motto and honestly, it’s ICONIC A.F.
Newsflash: Jameela Jamil doesn’t give an EFF what anyone thinks about her.

The 33-year-old actress is on a mission to debunk the lies many celebrities spread on social media about weight loss and health.
She has iconically shut down diet tea advertisements pushed by mega celebs like the Kardashians *many* times before.

“10 year challenge. Because this is roughly how long you spend on the toilet when you drink laxative “detox” teas…” she wrote on Insta.
It’s like an ongoing joke now because this bish does not QUIT coming after these celebs.

And honestly? We love to see it!
But don’t worry y’all, she comes after the problematic companies, too!

Queen of shutting down poop tea!
Now, Jameela is sitting down with the ladies of “The View” and sharing her 2020 motto.

Naturally, it was just as iconic as her.
When asked how she continues to share her message of self-love and acceptance despite all the negative backlash she receives, Jameela said she’s just taking a white male privilege attitude about it all.
“I mean, straight white men feel safe to speak their mind all the time, and so I’ve decided to adopt their straight white male privilege,” she replied.

The actress then shared she “was really messed up as a teenager,” which motivates her to speak out on issues close to her heart.
“I was so mentally ill, and so messed up by our society, and so I can’t be in this industry and be complicit in it,” Jameela continued.

“I have to use the power and the privilege that I have to speak out, and I’ll do anything I can to stop young people from going through what I went through when I was younger.”
Honestly? YOU GO GIRL!
Jameela also spoke about her thoughts on cancel culture and how it can be so good, but also SO BAD!

“It’s great when you have the Weinsteins and the people who’ve done irrevocable harm,” she said, but it has spread to “anyone who ever makes a mistake, even innocently.”
“We now just cancel everyone, and what that’s gonna do is it’s gonna devalue progress,” she continued.

“It’s gonna stop people from wanting to change, because they’ll be forever cast aside, because of their one sin from the past that they want to improve from. So if we want to motivate people to change, we have to show them that there is hope to be really accepted into our society.”
You tell ’em, Jameela!
