I cannot imagine the pressure celebrities must feel on a daily basis — especially over this past year. I hate going to a large gathering to see extended family members enough, I can’t imagine my Instagram page being like a family reunion, except no one meets up together and we’re not friends.
It goes without saying that social media can be a super toxic place and country singer Jessie James Decker recently saw the worst of it.

Sadly, Jessie James Decker recently discovered a subreddit where people were bashing her weight.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 33-year-old broke down in tears after revealing what she had found.
“So I’ve always been pretty confident in myself, and I’m not perfect,” the mom of three began, as per Page Six .
“I’ve always fluctuated in my weight up and down, but I have recently been sent a Reddit page that rips me apart on a daily basis.”
“They’re talking about how, apparently, fat I’ve gotten, and how boxy and how terrible my body looks.”
“And they’re accusing me of editing my body and all these things,” she continued.
“Yes, I have gained weight, 100 percent,” she added. “I used to obsess over it; tried to stay a certain weight, and most recently, over the past year, I decided to just let myself live.”
“I work out, and I eat what I want, and I 100 percent am 10 pounds heavier than I used to be,” she revealed.
“Truthfully, I used to weigh like 115, and I’m not anymore.”
“When you are writing blogs and stories and bullying me about how much weight I’ve gained and how fat my thighs are, I do take that offensively.”
“Because what is the messaging you are sharing?” she asked.
“It is so disgusting to me the things I just found. … How can you wake up and live with yourself?”
“I’m shaking because I cannot believe what I’m reading, and I need to stop.”
“It does make you stop and look in the mirror and go, ‘Oh my God, is there something wrong with me?’” she added through tears.
Jessie continued, wondering what this criticism will mean for her daughter, and all young women, in the future.
“It is hurtful, and I am such a strong, confident person, and I always have been, but it does hurt my heart a little that people are ripping every little thing about me apart,” Jessie sobbed.
“It’s me and it’s bullying and it’s not OK. I hope my daughter doesn’t grow up in a world where people do this to her because it’s wrong.”
The 33-year-old concluded, saying she was going to “wipe my tears and pull myself together because I’m a mom.”
Hopefully, Jessie’s emotional video will encourage people to stop body-shaming others online!
