While chatting with *Grazia* magazine earlier this year, the 32-year-old acknowledged the privilege she had, starting off in the industry with an established last name.
“Nepotism is a thing and I’m very aware of it,” she said . “And of course, I’ve always wanted to do it alone.”
Now, a resurfaced clip of important advice Elizabeth got from her older sisters is going viral.
If you can believe it, there’s only a two-year age gap between the twins (34) and Elizabeth (32). It feels like they have existed in such different worlds!
In the clip from 2018, the actress reveals what her sister always told her:
“I think there are two things. Something my sisters always say, which might have come from my father at one point — my dad, I don’t know — is that ‘no’ is a full sentence.”
She added: “And I really like that, especially as a woman.”
“You can just say ‘no,’ and I just really like that in all aspects of life.”
I absolutely am obsessed with that advice — it’s so important for all of us to remember!
Elizabeth also gave props to her sister’s in a different interview that same year. Oh 2018, you were so good to us!
The actress explained to Harper’s Bizarre how Mary-Kate and Ashley have inspired her.
“There are always ways you can be private — my sisters are intimately private and I respect that,” she explained.
“They showed me that you can be private, but also accessible to journalists, for those reasons.”
“It’s helpful that I learnt my value system from them.”
“It was a job and work and there are different ways of drawing attention to yourself that you don’t want.”
Elizabeth truly couldn’t have better role models !
