I like how it not only looks like the car is on fire, but on cozy fire, the type that you just can’t help but huddle around.

This looks like it would cook an egg quite nicely, but only once, because I could never be bothered to clean egg residue off of a wooden surface. I mean, it’s still cool and all that.
“$7.11 gas at 7-Eleven.”
I guess this is serendipity. Either that or it’s a convenient excuse for 7-Eleven to charge higher prices for gas just because the price coincides with their name. Or maybe the sign defaults to that if the pumps are empty.
“My hush puppy looks like a rubber duck.”
Hush puppies look delicious under any circumstances, but I think this perfectly golden-brown, rubber duck-shaped hush puppy might be the most aesthetically beautiful example I’ve ever seen. Now I’m hungry for hush puppies.
“Here’s what the inside of a gas pump looks like.”
I’d never really thought of what the inside of a gas pump looks like, but now that I’ve seen it, I’m glad I have. Turns out things get pretty darn complicated in there.
“1923 one-owner Model T has owner pic inside radiator cap.”
This proves that unnecessary extras when you buy a car are not a 21st century innovation. Way back in 1923, people were paying extra to put their own unique spin on the cars they bought.
“My odometer crossed the 111111 km mark on 11/11 as it was 11C outside.”
I’m trying to think of more ways this odometer could fit the number one on its display, but outside of some sort of computer glitch, I can’t think of one.
“Both of my kids have 2 toes fused together on each foot.”
I wonder how many toes these kids would say they have. Each foot has five toenails, but it’s debatable if they have five proper toes or not.

Maybe I’m just the cautious type, but I’d be a tad hesitant about drinking something that misrepresented itself on the label. What are you really hiding, supposed ‘stone fruit sour’?

While we all got used to it at the time, it’s kind of weird to look back and remember that the Terminator himself became the Governator of California for eight whole years.

This is kind of a weird sight. I mean, isn’t everywhere on our entire planet a potential high five zone? Also, call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to high five with human beings, not inanimate objects.

I love when you see a deep chip in something that’s been painted over repeatedly over the decades. It’s like a small trip back in time, or a low-budget kind of urban archaeology.
“The way the light hits this spiderweb makes it look like a CD.”
I’d love to have a closer look at this spiderweb to understand how this perfect spiral came to be. It doesn’t just look vaguely like a CD, it looks exactly like a CD.
“I preserve and frame spiderwebs!”
This looks cool, but I kind of feel bad for the spider. How would you like it if someone uprooted you from your home, just so they could put it in a frame and display it?
“This painting in a waiting room is the same print as my phone case.”
Some of the unique-looking designs we see on various products aren’t so unique at all. They all have to come from somewhere. At least in this instance, neither example has a watermark.

There’s something distinctly unnerving about this melon. I don’t know what it is, exactly — maybe the fact that it looks like a giant tentacle that’s growing from the floor to the ceiling.

This sprinkler reminds me of when I get into an argument: I dig in, refuse to change course, and pretty soon I’ve buried myself under a pile of my own idiocy. Yeah, this sprinkler is dumb.
