For a lot of people, it makes sense to have their packages sent to their work place.
Not only only does this eliminate the problem of delivery people leaving those stickers on your door when they miss you, but it also keeps your stuff out of the hands of package thieves if your goods are left at your doorstep.
Your mileage may vary on the viability of this strategy, but it’s definitely good to take advantage of it if possible. That said, there is such a thing as being too comfortable with items that aren’t normally found in a place of business and that goes double if incoming customers are an everyday reality.
Although it’s unclear how exactly the situation in this story unfolded, that level of comfort is one of the only explanations for how it could have happened.
A college student named Morgan Taylor was gearing up to attend her sister’s wedding in Virginia.

As far as the North Carolina woman was concerned, her preparations would not have been complete without a manicure and pedicure.
And so, she headed for Diamond Nails in High Point, North Carolina to get her nails done.

As Taylor told KCCI, the service she received was to her satisfaction as the staff were nice and she felt they did a good job on her nails.
However, soon after her pedicure was finished, Taylor saw something that guaranteed she would never return.

As we can see from the photo she posted on Facebook, one of the workers apparently thought this was a good time to start cutting deer meat on a tarp on the floor by the salon’s entrance.
As she said, “Seeing a deer that was being cut up next to me really made me worried about the sanitation of the salon.”
Curiously, the sight didn’t seem to faze other customers and the salon’s employees.

As Taylor told KCCI, “I don’t think they thought that anyone would care, and they didn’t think it was wrong to cut it in front of clients in the nail salon, which is surprising.”
Taylor, however, was concerned enough about the practice to report Diamond Nails to the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts.

The board is now investigating the salon, which apparently has a sanitation rating of 96.
As this is the first case of deer butchery that the board has heard of, they are now working to determine whether Diamond Nails is violating any existing codes by featuring it on the premises.
