This is an important thing to remind ourselves of. Sometimes this feeling of self-worth comes from within. Other times, it comes from a random flag-waving stranger on the street corner.

It isn’t all about Diners, Drive-ins, or Dives with Guy Fieri. Sometimes, he steps outside of his food niche to take in the odd Slipknot show. It must be liberating to refuse to go incognito.

Like our flag-waving friend a couple items back, this is an important message (if you can’t be bothered to zoom in, it says ‘enjoy yourself’). It’s weird, but weird in a good way.
A winning combo.
You know how, after years, owners and dogs start to look alike? Maybe the same is true of station wagons and houses. Hey, cream and black is a good color combo.
Glamping.
My camping trips don’t get much fancier than (occasionally) remembering to bring cutlery. Some campers like to go to the next level, with a tent that looks more like a medieval fortress.

There’s a fine line between ‘cute’ and ‘obnoxious’, and I think this business crossed it a long time ago. Still, they’re doing things exactly the way they want to, which is the whole point of this list.
I’d love to see a tank loudener.
This is apparently the largest silencer in the world for a tank. Why do tanks need silencers? I have no idea, but someone decided they needed to keep it down — and they developed an epic silencer to achieve this goal.

Most people who work at a desk don’t have a kitten snuggled into the crook of their arm. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a good idea to have a kitten/cat snuggled up while you work.
I feel so lonely.
Usually the walk/don’t walk signals are pretty plain. In this case, apparently it’s only okay to walk down the street if you’re holding hands with someone. Ideally, you should also be in love, as indicated by the little heart.

Sure, maybe you’ve dabbled in stage production at some point in your life. But I’ll bet you’ve never done it over open water with a giant skeleton looking down at you.
The Great Gig in the Sky.
This Pink Floyd tribute on a tombstone is beautiful. Graves don’t usually capture the personality of the person they’re honoring, but in this case, everything is crystal clear.
This guy gets it.
This guy went beyond sand castles and built a sand couch . I’m telling myself I’ll do this the next time I hit the beach, but there’s no way I have that kind of sand sculpting skill.
Showoff.
Most of us are pretty low-key with cars, because there’s nothing about a Corolla or Civic that really stands out. But if you have a Maserati, why not chrome it up a bit?
The absolute madman.
This isn’t an erupting volcano. It’s a dormant volcano that some guy went to the effort of flying a bunch of tires to the top of and setting them ablaze. It was April Fools’, after all.
Putting fellow beachgoers to shame.
Sand castles are pretty simple: mold the sand with a bucket, turn it upside-down, get frustrated when it crumbles, then go home. The sculptor of this castle is a little more skilled than that, though.
This is a high school play.
Let’s put aside the fact that it’s super awesome for a high school to do Alien as their play and focus on the elaborate costumes for a second. When I was in high school, we did, like, Treasure Island or something.
A+ effort.
To be fair, you don’t really need to know Photoshop to make memes. But this guy has a method, and he’s sticking to it. He even helpfully labels practically everything else in the frame while he’s at it.
Modern solutions.
Lots of us don’t carry money around anymore and rely on debit and credit to do our transactions. This means it’s hard to give to most homeless people, but this guy isn’t most homeless people.
A really big wheel.
If you grew up with one of these big wheels, you probably remember the emotional pain of realizing you were getting too big for it. This guy felt that pain, and pledged to do something about it.

It truly is out of the ordinary to spend a bunch of money to propose via a bottle of Vitamin Water. Derrick could’ve just…asked Leanne. But then we might never have seen a Vitamin Water proposal.
