Do you have a handy dad? I grew up with one. We never had to call anyone over to fix stuff around the house. Dad was always there to the rescue and I gotta say that’s really fantastic.
If your dad is a master with his toolbox you’ll definitely appreciate these creative projects and the dads who embarked on them.

When your stepmom is a sewing addict she needs a special space just for her. This lady’s dad built her stepmom the sewing room of her dreams and I think it looks pretty dang fabulous. No?
2. This Deck
What if your dad could build a whole deck almost entirely by himself? I bet you would be impressed too, huh? This dad did just that and I’m definitely blown away by his handy work here. It’s beautiful.
3. This Plant Stand
I’ve always wanted a tiered plant stand that would fit great in my living room. This lady is so fortunate that her dad was able to make this lovely one for her. I need one too.

When a dad loves one of his pets he really does show it. This dad actually claimed that he didn’t even like the family’s dog but then he built this end table with a nook for her. Aww, that’s so sweet.

Speaking of dads who love their animals, check out this cute project. This dad obviously really adores his pet tortoise that he even built an outdoor house with a window especially for him. How nice is this?
6. This Dog Kennel
I’ve often written about utilizing different spaces in your house. The space under the stairs is the perfect example. This dad decided to make it into a dog kennel for the family’s new puppy and it’s the nicest thing ever.
7. This Hidden Bookshelf Office
At first glance, this looks like just an ordinary bookshelf. Am I right? Well, it’s not. There’s actually a hidden office right behind it. One creative dad built this special space for his kid. That’s so cozy.
8. This Shoe Storage
This family suffered a huge loss when the mom passed away from cancer. So this dad channeled his energy in the right place by building his daughter this nice shoe storage. A great bonding experience indeed.
9. This Chicken Coop
Speaking of dads who are really creative and handy, what do you think of this? If you had a dad who can build you a whole chicken coop you would be pretty impressed too. This is so amazing.
10. This Dog Ramp
This person’s dog suffers from a bad back so their dad was so nice to build the dog a little doggy ramp. Now the little pooch can get up and down to the bed without any problems.
11. This Lightsaber
How would you feel if your dad built you a custom made lightsaber for your 23rd birthday? It took this dad 90 hours over 3 months. It’s actually made from aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and ziricote timber.
12. These Kitty Bunk Beds
Oh my goodness, isn’t this the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen? These cats are living the best kind of life and they know it ha, ha. When dad builds you this you’re truly lucky indeed.
