Body language is so important. If a picture speaks a thousand words, then a video speaks a thousand words a second… Don’t quote me on that, though.
What I mean to say is, body language can tell us things without verbally telling us things. This is why I love when the royal family gets their body language analyzed because, as we all know, they’re full of secrets!

Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge left fans in awe as she rocked a glittering gold gown to the latest James Bond premiere Tuesday night.
I mean seriously, I think it was her most viral fashion moment since her wedding dress, and that’s saying a lot.
Of course, with all eyes on Kate and hubby Prince William, you know a body language expert had to say something about these two.
Trusted Royal body language expert Judi James spoke with Express about what messages the couple was giving while working the red carpet together.
Judi commented on William’s Bondesque tux, saying: “William, who clearly loves to see himself as a bit of a Bond hero on a red-carpet night out, appeared blown away by his wife.”
“Beaming and standing almost shyly and sheepishly with his hands in the fig-leaf pose, or rubbing his hands together as they walked along,” Judi explained.
As for Kate’s dress, Judi explained the look was a sign of power and confidence.
“A dress like that requires confidence and elegance to do it justice and, with no bag in her hands to clutch at, Kate more than did it justice.”
“Walking the length of the carpet with her arms hanging at her sides and only joining her hands with a light touch of the fingers when she stopped to speak and laugh with her hosts,” the body language expert added.
Now, since I am the amazing journalist that I am, I have come to give you a second opinion about this royal duo on the carpet Tuesday night.
Because really, can we ever do enough snooping around in other people’s business? NO!
“Human Lie Detector” host and body language expert Darren Stanton sat down with “The Sun” to dish about what he picked up from the royal duo.
Darren explained that he saw a power couple on the red carpet that night, saying: “I think people thought that Meghan and Harry were going to be the new power couple in the monarchy and they definitely began to do this by shaking up a lot of traditions around their wedding and public appearances.”
“However, it is clear that William and Kate have used this as a platform to grow immensely popular with the public in recent years too.”
Darren continued by saying he observed the Royal duo feeling confident around Hollywood’s elite.
Darren explained:
“When analysing Prince William and Kate talking to famous faces last night and in their general demeanour, there seems to be a real interest and an ease of communication in their body language showing little to no awkwardness and their conversations appear more as counterparts than superiors – almost making them part of the celebrity circuit themselves.”
The body language expert told Coffee Friend that William and Kate are successfully toeing the line between royal and celebrity.
“The lines between royalty and celebrity are now closer than ever as the likes of Prince William and Kate move more into the realm of being popular public figures for the younger generation,” Daren told the retailer .
“As William ascends to the throne in the coming years, I think he will be a particularly popular king.”
“He’s allowed the world to have a glimpse at them as if to say, ‘hey, we are just like you – we have our problems, we have our successes, but fundamentally we are the same'” he added.
There’s no denying fans of the Royals got to see a more adventurous side of the Duke and Duchess at this Bond premiere.
