It’s not easy being a parent, period. You’re responsible for a whole little human! Add being a celebrity into the mix and you have one complicated and exhausting role.
So when Food Network star Katie Lee Biegel shared a DM she received from a “concerned” fan on Instagram, she had no choice but to call them out!
If Katie Lee Biegel’s glowing face looks familiar to you, it’s probably because she has been a Food Network star for years now!

The 39-year-old is best known for being a co-host on The Kichen , and for starring on the Cooking Channel’s Beach Bites with Katie Lee.
After tying the knot with hubbie Ryan Biegel in 2018, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together this year.

On September 2nd, 2020, the couple welcomed their daughter, Iris Marion.
Much to the delight of her fans, Katie has shared lots of adorable photos of her baby girl on social media.

However, the downside of Katie’s openness is that internet trolls feel comfortable letting their unsolicited opinions run wild.
According to People , Katie posted a DM she received from a follower.
“I’m sure you’d been told this but it’s not good to hold Iris so much,” said the user. “She needs time for her back/spine/stomach and muscles to develop … not a ‘Karen’ just trying to help.”

Naturally, Katie didn’t take the message well.
“Mom shame, much?” she replied.

“Not to worry, my baby gets plenty of tummy time, activity time, etc.”
Can 2020 be the year that we end mommy-shaming, please?
