Paul Turovsky
The 34 year old business man from Fort Myers was paraded in handcuff following his arrest at a sex trafficking scene.
Not So Honeymoon
Turovsky got married to his wife on July 15, 2022 and checked into a luxurious hotel in Tampa Bay for their honeymoon when he responded to an ad online.
What’s In The Ad

You guessed right; the ad contained details about meeting up with a paid sex worker with whom Turovski had now connected.
Uh-oh! Dangerous Curve Ahead

Apparently, the ad was a cover-up for a sting operation by the local police to track and arrest sex traffickers.
The Meet Up
Unknown to Turovsky, the sex worker he had been in contact with was an undercover police officer and this is the beginning of his woes.
Hyatt Hotel

The 34 year old arrived at the Hyatt Hotel at 2900 Bayport Drive in Tampa where he was immediately put into handcuffs.
Chronister’s Witty Comment
The police chief who channeled his inner Grady Judd dropped a comment.
One Out Of Several

At the press conference, Chronister revealed the newly married man is just one of the at least 360 suspects arrested by the local authorities since June 2021 as part of their effort to combat human and child trafficking.
176 Arrests In 3 Months
He continued that 176 men had been apprehended in the last three months alone, majority of which is linked to charges related to prostitution, even with minors.
First Leg Was Launched In April 2021
The 176 arrests are part of the first sting launched in April 2022 where they also placed a fake ad online.
The Said Ad
In the ad, a father (an undercover agent) sought to traffic his 14-year-old daughter for sex and needed a reliable client for patronage.
Authorities confirmed they got an overwhelmingly positive response to this ad and other similar ones who started conversing with undercover detectives and setting up meetings.
Scary Conversations
Chorister described the conversations between sex traffickers and agents (undercover cops) as terrible and very upsetting to read.
Two Girls Rescued
Police rescued two teenage girls between the ages of 16 and 17 from the den of human traffickers in Tampa. They were previously reported missing from their residence in Massachusetts and then moved to Florida by two sex traffickers.
10 Man Group Arrested

The police also took custody of 10 men who were caught trying to force children to have sex with them.
