Body positive friends Denise Mercedes and Maria Castellanos have taken social media by storm, thanks to a viral TikTok trend. The two friends do something pretty simple: They both put on the same outfit and show us what it looks like on two different bodies.
The importance of their work can’t be understated. Not all fashion is one size fits all, but love for your body totally is.

Denise, left, and Maria, right, are two best friends living in New York City. After going viral on TikTok for their cute, fun videos showing off their different oufits, they created their own hashtag campaign.

These looks are everything! I’d call this New York casual, and it’s so cute. You can see that on Denise, the shirt hits much higher on her cleavage. It’s little details like that one that really help women shop!
They work the heck out of formal wear, too.
How cute is this photoshoot? You can see how beautifully this dress fits both women, and how complimentary that fabric is. Also, that color is absolutely stunning. I have no choice but to stan.

We love a pattern moment! The fit of this dress is once again different on both women, with Maria’s clearly being a purposeful two-piece moment. Denise added a belt!
Yup, they even took on swimwear.
And thank god, because shopping for a bathing suit should not be nearly as traumatizing as it is. This suit looks so good on both of them! Red is totally their color.

I said thank you, ladies! This is an amazing statement for anyone who is afraid of a bikini, no matter their size. They both look absolutely stunning in the same one!
I’m a sucker for an off-the-shoulder-moment.
That pale blue compliments their skin tones beautifully. Both women said the whole point of doing what they do is to help other women feel good about themselves, and the feedback they’ve gotten indicates they achieved exactly that.
Of course, they had to take on that classic Calvin Klein look.
I LOVE the way they’ve chosen to style themselves! Denise opted for some cutouts and rolled-up legs, while Maria kept it classic with some high-waisted jeans. That bra works for both of them, too. We love to see it.

They like to experiment with a lot of different styles in their TikToks, usually set to music! You can’t show off clothes without doing a bit of dancing, after all. (No, really. It’s so fun.)
They totally nail influencer business casual, too.
I say “influencer” business casual, because the rest of us can’t rock these at our meetings. But they totally can! Those matching purses are everything, and the blazers are so sharp.
Leather pants are a bold choice.
And they totally pull them off! The whole outfit is from Shein, which is surprising — I didn’t know they had plus sizes! What a great fall look, y’all.
You can never go wrong with a cape jacket.
Another Shein outfit, these jackets give me big Halloween energy. I love that they paired them with a short dress and some white shoes — the contrast is so chic.

Of course Rihanna chose to include everyone when she released her collab with Savage, aka Savage x Fenty. The whole line is inclusive and so comfy, guys. I couldn’t recommend it more.
They even tried out some leather dresses!
How fire are these? They actually swap colors in the video they posted, which you have to check out. Their TikTok game is so strong. Also, wow that dress looks great on both of them.

Guys. Those DRESSES. They each paired the dress with a pair of camel brown shoes, but I love that they chose different bags and jewelry. It really helps you visualize how to style the dress in different ways.

The girls went for identical styling on this one. It’s really good to see how cable looks on different bodies. You can see that it doesn’t widen along the hips, which is so nice to know.
