The future is uncertain, and many seek answers about what lies ahead. Often referred to as the “Nostradamus of the Balkans,” blind clairvoyant Baba Vanga is once again in the spotlight for her chilling predictions about humanity’s fate.
Among her most shocking claims is that the apocalypse will begin as early as 2025, sparking concern among her followers and the public alike.
Baba Vanga, born in 1911 as Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, gained notoriety for her alleged precognitive abilities.

After losing her sight during a storm at 12, she is said to have developed the ability to foresee future events.
By the 1940s, she was using these ‘psychic abilities’ to help people locate missing soldiers during World War II.
One of Baba Vanga’s most alarming predictions is that Europe will face a devastating internal conflict by 2025.

While the world isn’t expected to end until 5079, her timeline suggests that humanity’s downfall will start much sooner. With ongoing geopolitical tensions, her prophecy has fueled fear about what the near future holds.
According to Baba Vanga expert Viktoria Vitanova-Kerber,

“People were consulting her, not only from her town, but from the whole country and abroad.” She added that by the 1960s, long lines would form outside Baba Vanga’s home as people waited to hear her predictions, often about personal matters like marriage or children.
Despite her passing in 1996, Baba Vanga’s fame continues to grow.

“Her fame didn’t die,” Vitanova-Kerber said. “There are a lot of articles with predictions she allegedly made still being published today.”
Among these predictions is the rise of artificial intelligence, which she claimed would dominate the world by 2024.
Many of Baba Vanga’s followers believe she accurately predicted several major events.

This included the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, the 2000 Kursk submarine incident, and the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
Additionally, she is said to have foreseen the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. president.
Baba Vanga’s prophetic timeline includes events far beyond our time.

She allegedly foresaw humans exploring Venus by 2028 and the melting of polar ice caps by 2033, which will cause global sea levels to rise. In 2076, she predicted that communism would spread worldwide, and by 2130, humans are expected to make contact with extraterrestrial life.
Her prophecies continue beyond that.

There are predictions that Earth will be at war with Martians by 3005 and humanity will abandon the planet by 3797 due to its uninhabitable conditions.
Finally, according to Baba Vanga, the world will come to an end in the year 5079.
While many view her predictions with intrigue, some remain skeptical.

“The prophecies are not documented,” Vitanova-Kerber noted.
“We will never know what she really said or not, because there are almost no documents about anything in her life.”
Whether or not Baba Vanga’s predictions come to pass, her legacy as a mystic endures.

While some of her prophecies are quite alarming, there’s a bit of solace in the fact that many of them are so far in the future — most of us will be long gone before aliens show up or Earth becomes uninhabitable.
So, for now, we can all relax… at least until we can see if any of her predictions start coming true or not!
