Look, I’m a simple lady — I don’t ask for a lot. I love a good episode of Real Housewives , a nice glass of wine every now and again, and hey, maybe even a delicious slice, or 6, of a good, non-chain restaurant pizza if we’re getting fancy.
The things I just listed may not sound exciting to you all, but imagine if we lived in a world where Morgan Freeman just narrated what I said? Now, that paragraph was just nominated for an Academy Award.
We all know Morgan Freeman is an outstanding actor.
Known best for his roles in films like Shawshank Redemption , Street Smart , Driving Miss Daisy, and Invictus , his talent on-screen is incomparable.
However, what makes Morgan so special is his talents off-screen, too.
His voice has been used to narrate many powerful documentaries.
His work on The Story of God is probably my favorite, but I also loved listening to his narrate March Of The Penguins , Born To Be Wild , and The Long Way Home .
These are all beautiful documentaries with incredibly important stories to tell.
Now, of course, no one would describe my life as a “beautiful documentary” with “incredibly iimportant” stories to tell.
At most, my life could be described as a 2-minute horror film teaser trailer that gets bad reviews for being “boring” and “predictable.”
However, if Morgan Freeman narrated my life… it would be magic .
If Morgan Freeman provided the audio to my life, I wouldn’t just be washing the dishes or taking out the trash — I would be doing something heroic.
His voice transcends both time and space, and I just think life would be a lot better if we got 8 billion Morgan’s to follow each of us around to narrate our very mundane existences.
