You thought the states was inventive in flavors? Japan is trailing way ahead, my friends.
Has the states launched a strawberry-flavored Coca-Cola?
Yeah, didn’t think so.
But guess who did? Japan! Obviously!
You might have been wondering whether or not the soda is red or its iconic dark brown self.
Turns out, it’s the latter.
If Coca-Cola can do vanilla and cherry flavors and make it work, I’m sure strawberry works out swimmingly as well.
The folks over at Japan Today were able to give it a try, and they had a pretty pleasant experience.
The soda smelled very strongly of strawberry, but the flavor was quite subtle, almost resembling their cherry flavor.
Their final verdict: this isn’t a gimic drink.
