I’ve always been attracted to darker aesthetics and the occult. It must be all the years of reading Anne Rice novels. Ha, ha! Or all those hours I’ve spent watching Tim Burton movies.
Either way, if you like things on the darker side too you’ll be thrilled to know there are creepy and dark looking flowers you can add to your garden. Oh yes!

If you’re looking to blow all your friends away with a plant this one might be it. Also known as “Earth Star” or “Starfish Plant”. It features star-shaped rosettes with striking striped patterns on black leaves.

This new to the scene plant is quite unusual, to say the least. Each leaf has these raised cones that resemble teeth. But don’t worry they’re not sharp to the touch. They do look freaky though. Huh?

This visually stunning flower is actually a cross-breed of the lenten rose. It features stalks of gorgeous double black-purple flowers in late winter. Wow, I’ve never seen a flower quite like that. It looks almost unreal.

Add instant drama to your succulent collection with this stunning black variety with a green center. As with most succulents, this one is easy to take care of, which is always great news to me. Ha, ha!
13. Persian Shield
OMG, words cannot express how obsessed I am with this plant. One of my favorite colors is purple and this shade is as good as it gets. I must get my hands on this beauty asap. Swoon!
