To those obsessed with all things Royal, listen up. The British Royal Family holds vast properties all over the U.K besides Buckingham Palace.
So to make things easy to decipher, Quid Corner drew a map showing all the properties the Royals hold and who they belong to, and I have to admit this is quite impressive.
Check out these 20 royal properties and see where they sit on the map.
Looks like the Royals can pick any area in the U.K. and have a place to crash.
Buckingham Palace
The most famous and most recognizable building in London is, of course, Buckingham Palace. It’s the formal home residence of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Windsor Castle
Even though Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the Queen, she and her husband actually spend more time at Windsor Castle and other holiday homes.
Balmoral Castle
This is the Queen’s favorite summer residence and no wonder because it’s a granite castle built around a 50,000-acre estate. Apparently, the Queen really loves the Highlands.
Highgrove House
This is the family home of Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (Charles and Camilla). This 1798 Georgian house now has solar power and other modern amenities.
Clarence House
This is the official London residence of Charles and Camilla, who own apartments on the second floor. The original architect, John Nash, also designed Buckingham Palace.
Kensington Palace
The Duke and Dutches of Cambridge (William and Kate) reside in this 20-room, four-story private residence known as Kensington Palace. They’re now raising their growing family there.

This property was a wedding gift to William and Kate from the Queen and it now serves as their country home. It’s a Georgian-style country house from 1802.
Frogmore Cottage
This is the official family home of Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Harry and Meghan). Apparently, they spent £2.4m of taxpayers’ money to renovate it earlier this year.
Gatcombe Park
This Grade II-listed manor house was a wedding gift from the Queen to Princess Anne in 1976. Princess Anne still lives there with her daughter, Zara Tindall.
St James’s Palace
This Tudor-style redbrick structure is the official London residence of Princess Anne. And, it also holds the London residences of Princess Beatrice of York and Princess Alexandra.
The Royal Lodge
The Queen mother lived here until her passing in 2002. Prince Andrew has been living there since 2004. Apparently, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (Fergie) lives there too.
Bagshot Park
This Tudor Gothic-style mansion is home to Earl and Countess of Wessex (Edward and Sophie). Architectural historian Nicholas Pevsner once called the house ‘bad, purposeless, ugly.’ Looks pretty good to me!
