One of the best traits of being human is our ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions and inventions. But we also need to remember that just because we can, doesn’t mean we should. While there are plenty of great ideas that can actually improve the world, there are so much more that are useless at best.
One Reddit user posted a picture of an outdoor urinal, claiming that their mother’s boyfriend made it. Why? Because apparently he pees outdoors often, and this would keep him from peeing on the fence. Posted to Reddit’s Funny community , it got a lot of attention online.

“My mom’s boyfriend built an outdoor pisser so he doesn’t have to use the fence anymore,” the user captioned the post. The picture shows an exterior wall in the back of the house, right next to the drain pipe. On the wall rests a urinal seemingly made of gray plastic. It has a tube sticking out of the bottom, which slopes into the pipe next to it.
Weirdly enough, it seems pretty well-made. But it kind of makes you wonder why he’d go to all that trouble, rather than just go inside to use the bathroom…

It didn’t go over users’ heads that it seems like the boyfriend pees outdoors a lot if he decided to stick a whole urinal back there. Of course, this made for some pretty easy joke fodder, as users concluded that maybe the boyfriend peed outside because, like a puppy, he just wasn’t house-trained yet.
Other Users Couldn’t Help But Notice The Plumbing.
According to several commenters, it seems like the pipe coming out of the bottom of the urinal might not be sloped enough for proper drainage. A bunch of users started commenting about how that would smell really bad, while also assuming that the boyfriend’s logic wasn’t too sound.

The fact that he put in so much effort to pee outdoors when there was more than likely a bathroom available for him indoors is just strange. Users made comments and jokes, but they all mostly agreed that the mom’s boyfriend doesn’t quite seem like the type of guy to take anywhere fancy.
