Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini just reunited for the first time since their 2003 post- American Idol movie disaster, From Justin To Kelly , and it’s everything we dreamed of and more.
If you’re reading this, chances are, you’re an “American Idol” fan.

So, as you know, there would be no American Idol without the first season’s winner, Kelly Clarkson and the runner-up, Justin Guarini.
Since winning the very first season of “American Idol” back in 2002, we’ve all been fortunate enough to follow Kelly’s career.

And it’s been nothing but 17 years of pop hits for which we are forever grateful for.
But nowadays, Kelly has been dabbling in more than just music.

She’s a wife, a mom, a mentor on The Voice , and most recently, the host of her own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show .
“The Kelly Clarkson Show”, on NBC, premiered just earlier this month, on September 9th.

Basically, the concept is that Kelly opens with a mind-blowing cover of a well-known song, and then interviews a celebrity guest — touching on various topics.
And so far, there has been an incredible line-up of celebrity guests.
So far Kelly has interviewed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Ellen Degeneres, John Legend, Jennifer Garner, Matt Iseman, Jay Leno, Bryce Vine, Chance The Rapper, Jillian Bell, Christina Aguilera, Brian Austin Green, Jessica Alba, and Kelsea Ballerini.
But most recently she had a group of very familiar faces that we haven’t seen altogether in many years…

Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and of course, Justin Guarini.
Suddenly, it felt like it was 2002, and I was seven years old watching Kelly Clarkson win over every heart in America with her chunky blonde highlights and bootcut jeans— belting “A Moment Like This”.

Nostalgia at its finest.
“I promised more surprises — and this is a good one because I haven’t seen this person in years,” Kelly said.

“So please welcome the man I shared the final stage with, and my co-star in the blockbuster hit From Justin To Kelly ,” she continued, introducing Justin Guarini.
Btw, just to refresh everybody’s memory, this is what Justin used to look like:

Well, hold on to your hat’s because he looks completely different now.
This is what he looks like now:

I’ll give you all a moment to pick your jaws up off the floor.
FYI, this is what the millennials like to call a “glow-up”.
Kelly began by asking Justin what some of his memories are from “American Idol”.

“Chaos — definitely, working really hard, and um — you know, a lot of my memories really center around just being out there and doing it,” he said.
“And the fact that here, 17 years later, that I get to still do it — being on broadway, television commercials, all kinds of stuff,” he continued.

Kelly then inquired about Justin’s new book called “Audition Secrets”.
“So, it’s like, I’ve been in a lot of auditions,” he said. “I used to not love it.”

“But then I fell in love with it once I figured how to create an audition that crushes the competition.”
Just then, Simon cut in. “Your first audition was very good, by the way,” he said.

“Maybe we haven’t told you, but when you walked out of the room, we literally went like this,” he said, as him and Paula both put their hands together in a praying-like fashion. “Thank you, god.”
So, although Justin didn’t win “American Idol”, it looks like he’s still been doing very big things with his life because of it.
