One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer has always been open with fans about her husband, Mike Caussin’s, sex addiction.
The actress, singer, podcaster, mom, and wife is now commemorating the anniversary of finding out about her husband’s infidelity.

While some fans are applauding Jana’s honesty, others are questioning her ability to be able to forgive her cheating husband.
Last year, Jana began to share her feelings about her husband’s sex addiction.The couple shared their story in a series of tell-all interviews.
In addition to the media interviews, Jana and Mike host a podcast together called “Whine Down” where they air out a lot of their dirty laundry.
The couple spoke with Tamron Hall last year and reflected on Mike’s infidelities since the pair tied the knot back in 2015.
Jana revealed the moment she first found out her husband had been unfaithful: “We had just celebrated a year and had a daughter who was five months old. […] That was— that was tough.”
Jana admitted it’s hard to reflect on her first pregnancy knowing her husband was being unfaithful at the time.
As she said, “And it’s still real hard to look back on those memories because to me, they were real, but how were they real when you were doing this?”
The pair have been on-again, off-again due to the indiscretions but, in 2017, they renewed their wedding vows.
The couple has had their ups and downs since then, with Jana admitting they almost broke up again last year.
Jana’s fans find her honesty refreshing and admirable, while her critics don’t understand the relationship.
So when Jana posted a commemorative Insta about her “discovery day” of Mike’s affairs, the reactions were mixed, to say the least.
“As Mike shared in his Mike Monday today, yesterday marked 4 years since discovery of his affairs. Holy hell was 4 years ago the worst day of both of our lives and damn did our world literally explode,” Jana wrote.
“But last night was the first time on this day that we were closer than ever. Sure, there were some tears but the connection was stronger than it’s ever been.”
“I’m so thankful for the way Mike leaned in with empathy. That makes all the difference. Today’s podcast we answered some really tough emails and had some great conversations about addiction. You’re not alone,” she concluded.
Fans began to share their own experiences with cheating in the comments of Jana’s post.
“I’m coming up on the 1 year since discovery date and it is so hard! Everything seems like a reminder. I feel like the world thinks I should ‘be over it and move on’ but it’s just not that simple,” shared one fan.
While many friends and fans left comments of support, others were far more critical of the couple.
“I am sorry you went thru this and I appreciate your getting over it, but after 4 years it’s the past, he made mistakes. I think it would be time to just let it go, we all make them and being constantly reminded of it I feel will not prevent it but cause more problems in the future,” commented one fan.
“Let it go and move on. Stop bringing up the past,” commented another.
“He didn’t feel sorry while doing it, only once he was caught..why celebrate this date?”
“Hats off to you… I could never forgive that. I tried, but it was NEVER the same. I had to free myself….” shared another fan.
Some followers also asked about the couple’s children: “What will happen when your daughter grows up and reads all the stuff her father did to her mother while pregnant with her?”
They continued: “Don’t you think that will hurt her? Do you have a plan when your children find out all of this information from the internet?”
I think it’s safe to say that Jana and Mike are doing what is best for them and their family, which is totally admirable!
