We officially have 140 days until Christmas, so the advance planning of our extensive holiday long cons needed to begin yesterday .
Honestly, if you want to have the best Christmas of your life, you start brainstorming, prepping, and getting supplies for next year an hour after you open presents on the 25th. There’s just no other way to do it. I’m no quitter.
But…isn’t it like, August?
Exactly. Ever heard of Christmas in July? Of course you have. Christmas in July marks when the Christmas fanatics start preparing for the December festivities, so to be honest, we’re already a little behind.
However, I’m here to let you in on some good news: we can catch up. Sure, it may be a bit of a rush , but we’ll make it work. We just need to get in the holiday zone.
First on the shopping list: Peppermint Bark Oreos.
Getting the odd feeling like you’ve seen these somewhere before? You have.
Peppermint Bark Oreos were briefly introduced, taken off the shelves, and will now be re-introduced for the 2019 Holiday season.
In case you’ve never been blessed by the PBO, lemme give you the low down.
It’s a classic Oreo cookie, but instead of that normal non-festive creme middle, we’ve got peppermint-flavored creme and red sugar crystals.
It’s honestly like eating candy-cane cake that doesn’t taste like toothpaste (I’m very particular about my candy canes okay?)
There’s no info yet on exactly WHEN they’re launching.
All we know is that they will be available on store shelves in and around the Christmas season, which could mean any time from now till Christmas Eve depending on who you’re talking to.
