I’ve admitted this before but I’m going to repeat it again: I’m not a great baker. I dunno what it is, but just the fact that everything has to be absolutely precise when you bake seems to screw me up.
It looks like I’m not the only one struggling with this. Just check out these terrible cake fails that belong in the garbage.
1. This Chewbacca Cake
It goes without saying that this Chewbacca cake certainly didn’t live up to the expectation. This looks more like a melted bird than anything from Star Wars .
2. This Red Velvet Christmas Cake
First of all, to attempt a beautiful Christmas cake like this you need mad skills, people. Otherwise, you’ll end up with this.
3. This Baby Yoda Cake
Star Wars seems to be a popular choice when it comes to themed cakes. Unfortunately, Baby Yoda wouldn’t be too impressed with this poor attempt.
4. This Hello Kitty Cake
I bet your kid would have loved to get a cute and pretty Hello Kitty cake. Turns out they had to settle for this nightmare.
5. This Snowman
Oh my goodness, what an adorable idea for a snowman cake. But what happened here? I guess he started melting already. Ha, ha. That’s no good.
6. This Belle Cake
Talk about beauty and the beast here. LOL! If that’s what they were trying to accomplish I say they succeeded. That is pretty scary.
7. This Monkey
Monkey see, monkey do, huh? Apparently not in this case. This would have been an awesome first birthday cake if disaster didn’t strike. This is so tragic.
8. This Dinosaur Cake Idea
It’s amazing what people think they can accomplish with their baking skills. Then they actually do it and are surprised when it turns out like this.
9. This Peacock
Talk about an impressive and elaborate cake design here. Why in the world anyone would even attempt making this themselves? This is better left for professionals.
10. This Lamb
Easter is just around the corner, so you might want to create a cute lamb cake like this. Just make sure it doesn’t turn into a blob.
11. This Lego Cake
It looks to me like it’s been one helluva week for this Lego minifigure. I bet he’s glad the week is almost over.
12. This Gingerbread House
Um, I think somebody was either drunk when they made this or they decided to go in a much different direction with this cake rendition. LOL!
13. This “Olaf” Cake
This Olaf cake would have been absolutely adorable and your kids would have freaked out when they saw it. They’re freaking out anyway now. WTF!
14. This Little Mermaid Cake
I admire anyone who thinks their skills are really up to par to make a replica of this awesome cake. LOL! This can’t be the outcome they had in mind.
15. This Minecraft Cake
I just love the simplicity and minimalism of this pretty Minecraft cake. Sadly, these facts didn’t help this person make it one bit. Oh no!
16. This Fox Cake
This person tried to make a fox cake for their partner’s birthday and this monster was created instead. They added sprinkles to soften the blow. OMG!
17. This Dolly Parton Cake
When your aunt wants to make a cake for your birthday that’s supposed to resemble Dolly Parton, make sure it doesn’t turn out like this.
18. This Patrick Star Cake
This person attempted to make their son a Patrick Star birthday cake, but something clearly went terribly wrong. I want to know what happened.
