Amy Schumer is known for a lot of things, and holding back is not one of them. The reason this comedian has so many loyal fans (guilty as charged!) is because of her ability to be open and honest with us about everything.
So when fan asked how she would “cope” if her son had autism like her husband does, and Amy gave the perfect response.

Who can forget when Amy recently compared her, um, neither regions, to “street trash.”
“It’s honestly just like, huge now and just garbage. It’s just street trash. Yeah, I would say my street trash [expletive] is probably [the biggest change],” she told friend and fellow comedian Kevin Hart recently on his podcast.
“Is it?” Kevin replied while laughing.
She then went on to discuss the NSFW parts of her marriage that have taken a hit since having her baby, son Gene, two years ago.
“I don’t go out anymore,” Amy continued.
“I mean, it’s also the pandemic, but I’d be down at the Cellar every night doing standup, and now it’s like, if a friend is like, ‘Want to meet out at 8:00 PM?,’”
“‘I’m like ‘8:00pm?! Sorry, I’m in …’ I mean, I’m not in bed, I stay up, you know…”
When asked how her sex life is, Amy got brutally honest.
“We probably have sex every seven to 10 days,” Amy revealed.
Kevin, who has four kids of his own, replied, “That’s about right.”
“I go, ‘Do you want to have sex?’ And he makes this face,” she added.
“He kind of pictured it, and like, winced. He’s imagining it and he made a face kind of like he ate something bad.”

As fans may recall, Amy has gotten candid in the past about her husband’s autism diagnosis.
While chatting with Seth Meyers in April 2019, the comedian revealed that her husband’s diagnosis was “a sum positive” for their relationship.
“That’s why we both wanted to talk about it, because it’s been totally positive,” she shared, as per USA Today .
“And I think a lot of people resist getting diagnosed, and even with some of their children, ’cause of the stigma, that comes along with it.”
Despite being a vocal supporter of her husband’s diagnosis, Amy still had to respond after a fan asked how she would “cope” if her son also was diagnosed with ASD.
It all started when Amy posted a sweet pic of herself and her son, Gene, and asked if fans would be interested in a documentary about her birthing process.
While most fans were supportive of the idea, one negative nelly wrote: “Not really, honestly. I think you’re great, I just feel like it’s self-serving and overdone.”
They added: “I’d like to see a documentary of you discovering your mate is diagnosed with autism and how you cope with the possibility that your child will be on the spectrum…”
In true Amy fashion, she didn’t hold back in her response.
“How I cope? I don’t see being on the spectrum as a negative thing,” she began.
“My husband is my favorite person I’ve ever met. He’s kind, hilarious, interesting and talented and I admire him. Am I supposed to hope my son isn’t like that?”
