Once upon a time, a man named Edward Bernays was called upon by the Beech-Nut Packing Company to convince the American public to eat more bacon. How did the father of public relations do it? Well, he created the American breakfast, of course! That came to include bacon, eggs, toast, and even pancakes. The bigger the breakfast, the better it is for you! Or so Bernays, with the backing of doctors, had convinced the public to believe.
It’s wild to think that something so engrained in the spirit of the American ethos was…fabricated.

Yes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese are happily wrapped in a golden brown pancake.
It’s sort of seems like a breakfast of nightmares, but I’m too intrigued to completely knock it.
Give me a side of syrup to dip it in and I’m sure it’s just what we need to enjoy mornings again.
No one necessarily has *time* to whip up eggs, bacon, and pancakes all at once in the morning, but this force of innovation just made eating an epic American breakfast a whole lot easier.
Bernays would be proud.
