Some parents have different ways of parenting and different strategies that work for them. Sometimes, not everyone agrees on the strategies, but whatever works for one parent may not work for another. Overall, many parents are outspoken about how they take care of their kids and themselves.

Some studies say that it’s imperative for parents to take breaks.
Parent burnout, as it’s known, is inevitable for parents who do not take “breaks” and give themselves downtime.

Sometimes, parents map out certain times in the day where they can have “downtime” and practice self-care.
However, there are parents who disagree with this notion, too.
Some parents disagree with “shutting off,” and believe that being a parent and a mother means that you are a parent 24/7, 365 days a year.
Recently, one Instagram influencer and parenting blogger opened up about her parenting schedule.
Constance Hall is a parenting blogger who has millions of fans and readers. From her Facebook to her Instagram pages, Hall has built a strong audience of parents.
The mom, who has seven children, says it’s not an easy job.
Many online are always asking how the mother of seven kids makes it look “so easy” in her blog and on Instagram.
Hall says one rule she has is that she “stops parenting” at 7:30 p.m.
In a piece submitted to the publication Mamamia , Hall said she “turns off her mom duties” at 7:30 p.m.
“I check out at around 7.30 p.m. Anything you need that’s not an emergency after that is up to you to do,” she said.
She doesn’t want to be bothered by her kids after that time.
“I’m not your mum; I’m not here. I’m not your slave, I’m just a statue of a woman who an hour ago wiped your bum and is now drinking wine chatting on the phone to her sister,” she continued.
Hall also has her opinions on dinner and chores.
“Feast with your hands. Dishes are the worst part of dinner.
In other cultures, everyone eats with their hands off the same plate. I often put a huge pile of vegetables along with another plate of sliced meat or whatever you’re making,” she shared.
It’s not the first time the mom has gone viral, either.
In 2016, she went viral for a post many moms related to about being a “good mom.”
“Being a good mum or wife or human does NOT mean spending eternity cleaning your house. If you leave them for long enough your friends will start doing them. Trust me,” she wrote.
However, some people online disagree with Hall’s cut-off time for parenting.
People commented on her interview with Mirror saying that this is “selfish” of her and that being a mother is a 24-hour commitment.
Others chimed in and agreed.
Other people commented agreeing that it’s “selfish.” Another asked why have all of those children if that’s the attitude she has.
Some, however, said that back in the day all parents were like this.
Some said that parents were “less involved” back in the day and we all turned out just fine.
And, yet, some said that they do the same as Hall.
One person in the comment section said her kids went to bed by 7 p.m. and she had peace throughout the day knowing that after that, she would have her “me time.”
