There’s a lot of conspiracy theories floating around the internet these days. It’s clear quarantine brought out everyone’s creativity as they search for answers in the ongoing saga that is Britney Spears’ Instagram.
For a while now, Britney’s Insta has been making us scratch our heads because it’s so beautifully random but now, some fans are speculating there’s something much more sinister at play.
It’s no secret that Britney Spears’ social media has been under scrutiny lately. Her content was always eclectic and ~whimsical~ but now, fans are beginning to think there’s something much more sinister at play.
Britney’s followers began to ask questions after the singers Insta account started posting a lot seemingly older selfies over and over and over again.
She recently addressed the controversy in a new Instagram video she posted to her story.
She acknowledged that she’s been taking pics of herself in the same top and flowers in her hair, but that’s because she’s working on her photography project, “Project Rose.”
However, some fans are speculating “Project Rose” is really a cry for help from Britney.
Twitter users began googling “Project Rose” and came across some sinister information.
“‘Project Rose’ is codeword for organizational crime in human trafficking. It consists of seemingly “helping” people in need and then taking over their lives and using them as slaves for profit,” wrote Twitter user @mamabethanyjoan
Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Britney’s latest Instagram video, and speculated she was trying to reach out to them in code.
“Britney is sending us the ‘Project Rose’ message as a sign to describe her condition. Jamie is not her helper, he is a predator. Project ROSE is closely connected to Bethany Bible Church, which operates a sex trafficking ring,” alleged user @mamabethanyjoan.
She continued: “Can you guess where The Bethany Bible Church is located? Louisiana and LA, Britney’s birth state and her current state of residence. The LA Church itself is just a 15 minute drive from Britney’s home in LA.”
“The Bethany Church (or shall we call it The Britney Church?) doesn’t look like a Church at all. It looks more like a pop music concert venue and is privately funded by a mysterious donator (1-2M in donations).”
@mamabethanyjoyan continued : “What exactly happens at The Bethany Church? Is it a venue where rich individuals get a special kind of show from stars like Britney who are blackmailed into it? A high class prostitution ring where the biggest bidder of the night wins the grand prize – Britney herself.”
Fans have mixed feelings about the cryptic conspiracy theory, but it’s clear they’re worried about the songstress.
Britney has yet to address any of these allegations, but considering her social media is heavily monitored by someone , it’s highly unlikely she will.
