In my opinion, fortune cookie fortunes have lost their bite. All they do nowadays is compliment you and make you feel good. Still, it’s tough to argue with this when you see photographic evidence of one of these feel-good fortunes coming true.

Do you ever try to sketch something and it turns out like this? Sometimes there’s just an insurmountable disconnect between what you see in your mind and what you’re able to draw on paper.

Kittens don’t stay this small for long, but while it lasts, it’s freakin’ adorable. It also comes with the added bonus of their murder mittens and teeth not being big enough to cause much pain.

Living in Southern California has many perks: great weather, mild winters and nearly constant sunshine. And if that’s not enough for you, sometimes Superman himself will stop by for a refreshing glass of lemonade.

Honestly, I thought a 15-minute-old lamb would look, well, kind of gross. I’m sure this little guy’s been cleaned up a bit, because he looks fuzzy and snuggly and completely adorable.

When you take a freeze frame of a derpy dog running at full tilt, it’s hard to believe that they even know how to run at all. Seriously, what are those front legs even doing right here?

The protection instinct is strong in many animals. It’s downright touching to know that this doggo has served as a comforting foster mom to various kittens who need a mom.
“This woman adopted this 20-year-old cat from a shelter because she didn’t want him to spend the end of his life alone in a cage.”
Senior cats, sadly, don’t often get adopted from shelters. It’s gratifying to see at least one who now has a loving home.

I don’t know what happened to this cat to make it look this way. All that really matters is that she’s living her best life.

Deep pockets are good for lots of things: phones, keys, loose change, snacks, and, sometimes, kittens. I wonder how much time the kitten spends in the pocket before it wants to be let out.

When I sit on a park bench, nothing much happens. I get bored and pull out my phone. When this guy sits on a park bench, he suddenly becomes king of all stray cats. Lucky.

Seeing this photo makes me want to see an all-dog version of a giant chess board. It might be a bit of a logistical challenge, now that I think about it.

I wonder if this person knew about the sculpture ahead of time. If not, this is just about the most serendipitous art gallery possible. The sculpture is definitely art, but so is this perfect photo.
