Gold medalist Shawn Johnson has come under fire after posting a video of her 3-month-old daughter’s first flip.
Shawn Johnson and her hubby Andrew East welcomed their baby girl Drew “Roo” Hazel East this past November.

Being a professional athlete, Shawn kept active during her whole pregnancy.
So it’s no surprise her baby has taken on her mamma’s natural athletic talent!
Recently, the East fam took Drew on her first beach visit and documented the entire, adorable experience.
This included her first flip, with a little help from her mamma, of course.
“Roo’s first flip!!” Shawn captioned the adorable video, before writing the disclaimer, “(she was PERFECTLY safe… so don’t even haha).”
While many fans thought the video was innocent and adorable, other fans worried for Drew’s safety.
“Putting a baby upside down is really bad,” wrote one fan.
“Not safe for their brains,” wrote another.
However, most fans totally trusted Shawn to keep her baby girl safe.
She is an OLYMPIC ATHLETE after all!
