Billie Eilish Donated Her Atlanta Festival Performance Earnings To Planned Parenthood
Billie Eilish has accomplished a lot in her 17 years.

Her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 this past March, making her the first artist born in the 2000s to have a number one album in the United States.
Now, Eilish is using her platform to raise awareness about one of her favorite organizations, Planned Parenthood.

On her Instagram stories this past weekend, Eilish announced she planned on donating funds from her performance at the Music Midtown festival in Atlanta to the nonprofit.

"ATLANTA. one of my favorite places in the world, to be in, and play shows!! But I do not love the state’s lawmaker’s decision to take away women’s rights," Billie wrote.

Billie Eilish performed on the Sunday night of the fesitval, and it looks like the fans *and* Planned Parenthood were overjoyed to have her there.
Her decision to support Planned Parenthood in Atlanta, Georgia comes after Georgia's governor signed a controversial law banning abortions after the sixth week of pregnancy.
This isn't the first time Eilish has supported Planned Parenthood.

She, along with a large list of other prominent artists including the Foo Fighters, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa and Lizzo participated in the organization's #BansOffMyBody campaign.
The campaign aims to aims to raise awareness about abortion restrictions across the country.
The goal is to gather 500,000 online signatures to mark the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
According to their website, Planned Parenthood provides "vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people worldwide."
As her career and success grows, I'm sure Billie will continue to support causes that matter most to her, including Planned Parenthood!
