Reality-TV star, Farrah Abraham, is being dragged all over the internet for her "disgusting" — but most of all, inaccurate attempt at paying tribute to the nearly 3000 lives taken on 9/11.
On the morning of September 11th, 2001, two hijacked planes were intentionally flown and crashed into the twin towers — the World Trade Center site in New York City.
So naturally, every year thousands of people pay tribute to the colossal tragedy on social media.
Farrah is better known for having her teenage pregnancy documented on MTV's 16 And Pregnant.
She went on to also star in Teen Mom.
In 2017 she dabbled in adult films, and in early 2019 she graced us with her presence on reality-tv again, starring in MTV's Ex On The Beach.
She documents her day-to-day life, travel, motherhood, and she has even released her own music accompanied by music videos.
She explains that she wants to educate her daughter about the tragedy.
First of all, in the video's caption she wrote: “WORKD TRADE CENTER,” misspelling World Trade Center.
In the video — which was seen over 14,000 times in the first 30 minutes of being uploaded, Farrah says that she remembers being in the fifth grade when the attacks happened, so she feels it's important to teach her daughter about it.
So, obviously, without hesitation, her fans went off in the comments.
She allegedly said "happy September 11th" as though it's some kind of joyous holiday.
Yikes.
Some fans argue that Farrah is exploiting a tragedy and her own daughter as a tactic to reap fame and maintain her online presence.
Luckily for her, if she is trying to get the full 7/11 experience, there is probably one around the corner from where she is.
For the record, she has had way more done than just Botox.
Botox is simply the tip of the iceberg.
Farrah has not taken the video down or apologized for her insensitivity, but she has corrected the spelling mistake in her caption, so that's something?
