Today is a big fan for fans of pop princess and international superstar Britney Spears. The past ten years have been anything but easy for the “Toxic” singer but now, it seems the end of her rollercoaster is finally near, and her happily ever after is closer than ever.
On Sunday night, Britney announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari in a sweet video uploaded to her Instagram.

One of the first big moves she’s been able to make is announcing her engagement to BF Sam Asghari.
After nearly five years of dating, this news has been a long time coming!
Last month, Britney thanked her long-time love for his support during some of the most tumultuous years of her life.
“Not only has this cute asshole been with me through the hardest years of my life but he happens to be an extremely good cook!” Britney wrote on Instagram.
“*Fast & Furious* franchise, don’t miss out on your next star!!!” she concluded.
Sam has also been candid about his priories with Britney, telling Forbes back in March: “My priorities in life are to remain humble and understand where I came from and where I’m going.”
The Iranian-born actor continued:
“I want to take my career to the next step when it comes to acting. I want to take my relationship to the next step, as well. I don’t mind becoming a father. I want to be a young dad.”
A few months ago, a close source told *People* that Britney was more than ready to settle down and have kids with Sam.
“He’s ready for marriage and kids with Britney and is serious about the relationship. She wants to take that next step and have that full life with him,” said the friend.
“As a couple they’ve hidden how they’ve really felt even from people close to them because they were anxious and scared, but now it’s all out there.”
Thankfully, it seems the wait has been worth it as the pair have finally announced their engagement!
Posting a video to Instagram Sunday night, the 39-year-old shared the exciting news to her 34 million followers.
“I can’t [explective] believe it!!!!!!!!” Britney captioned the video of she and Sam showing off her stunning ring.
Sam also showed off the 4-carat sparkler in a post with Britney flashing her engagement ring finger to the camera.
Now, amidst the exciting news, fans are learning that the ring has even more significance than just being a stunning representation of their love.
According to *Page Six* Sam had Britney’s nickname engraved into the ring band.
The publication reported that the ring was designed by Forever Diamonds’ founder Roman Malayev, who worked “hand-in-hand” with Sam to “create a setting that combined timeless elegance with thoughtful details.”
Sam had the word “lioness” — his nickname for Britney, according to Page Six— engraved on the inside of the band.
“Every designer I spoke with about the ring was amazing with great ideas, but I just clicked with Roman — we really connected on the design and he was as excited as I was to make it special — that’s why I chose him,” Sam said in a statement to the publication.
We couldn’t be more thrilled for Britney to start this exciting new chapter.
No one deserves a happy ending more like Britney, betch .
