Bride And Groom Slammed For Serving 'Toddler' Meal At Reception

Weddings are about love. Of course. That's obviously priority #1. However, there is no denying weddings are also about the party. Yes, ceremonies are beautiful. Yes, I cry when the couple reads their vows. But you know what also makes me cry? A perfectly cooked piece of prime rib after listening to 15 speeches from distant relatives.

Now, a couple is getting dragged online for the meal they served at their wedding, and let's just say — it's no prime rib.

Like it or hate it, meals are one of the most scrutinized parts of a wedding.

After a long day of small talk about hotels and transportation with strangers, I am ravenous. While people have a lot of opinions about wedding dinner service (buffets vs. plated meals) we can all agree food is super important to keep your guests happy.

Now, a couple is coming under fire for the meal they served their guests at their wedding.

Worst of all, the meal was posted online by a BRIDESMAID!

Sharing a photo of a very small "meal" — or really, an arrangement of snacks, the bridesmaid popped off on social media, as reported by 7News.

"We get our food', which was half a croissant sandwich, fruit on a stick, veggies in a cup and a bag of chips," the bridesmaid explained.

If you can believe it, this meal wasn't the only thing that rubbed the bridesmaid the wrong way.

About the decor, she wrote: "None of the chairs matched at the reception... it just looked a mess."

Needless to say, the internet had an absolute heyday over the pictures.

"This is literally what I gave my toddler for lunch today minus the chips," wrote one user.

"Chips!" wrote another. "I don’t know whether to laugh or feel sad.”

“They couldn’t even spring for a full sandwich? Just half each? Damn," echoed another.

Ultimately, it was so shady of the bride's own bridesmaid to drag her on social media like this, no matter how angry she was.
