Disney Channel Star Cameron Boyce Dies At 20-Years-Old

Cameron Boyce, who starred in various Disney Channel shows, has died, a Disney Channel spokesperson has confirmed.

Cameron starred on Disney's "Jessie" From 2011 until 2015.

He also starred in Descendants, and made appearances in Liv and Maddie, Good Luck Charlie, and Shake it Up.

Non-Disney fans may recognize Cameron from other movies like "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2" where he played Keithie Feder.


The cause of death was due to an "an ongoing medical condition," the family reports.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," a Boyce family spokesperson said.

They revealed that he passed in his sleep.

"He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated."

"The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights,"

"But his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him," They finished.

"From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world," Disney's spokesperson said.

"He was an incredibly talented performer, a remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above all else, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, grandson and friend. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, castmates and colleagues and join his many millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He will be dearly missed," they said.

Condolences from friends and fans are already pouring in for Cameron.

James Charles mourned Cameron's loss, and shared how incredibly talented he was.

A lot of Cameron's fans who grew up watching him on the Disney Channel are understandably devastated.

With over 10 million followers on social media, it's no doubt that Cameron's impact was huge.

Cameron was just 20-years-old, and was currently working on "Descendants 3".
