15+ Times Nature Served Up A Real Surprise

There are basically two kinds of people in the world: those who love nature documentaries, and those who love to fall asleep to nature documentaries. I am pretty much in the latter category, but I mostly attribute that to David Attenborough's soothing voice.

Who knows, maybe if I paid more attention, I wouldn't find this stuff so surprising — but I'm pretty sure these are rarities and special moments worth documenting.

When she's pregnant, you can see an African land snail's egg storage through her breathing hole. And, when she finally delivers them, the eggs travel up her neck and come out the side of her head.
