Quotes For People Who Appreciate A Really Good Bargain

I used to be the kind of person who thought "new" was best. I wouldn't even consider buying anything from a secondhand store, and I turned up my nose at hand-me-downs. To put it simply, I was a snob.

Now that I'm older, wiser, and (let's face it), just a little broker, I'm not so quick to turn away something if the price is right. A used 20-piece dish set for only $10? Score! Grandma wants to give me that couch that's been sitting in her basement for the last 30+ years for absolutely free??? Heck yes!

If you (and your bank account) also appreciate a really good bargain, then I think you're really going to enjoy these quotes.

Just once.

Whenever I realize it's time to change my Brita filter, I like to simply ignore that little flashing light and just continue on with my day because "water jug filter" just isn't at the top of my priority list right now.

Hasn't killed me yet.

Yet another of my "out of sight, out of mind" problems.

When my boyfriend and I bought our new car, his eyes were opened to just how "nope" I am about automotive issues. That dashboard could be lit up like a damn Christmas tree and I would still drive to the grocery store convincing myself everything is fine.

How is that even possible?

Seriously. I know I was still living with my parents and had less expenses, but I also only had a part-time job back then.

Yet despite the total of 10 hours I was working a week, I don't remember ever having to check my bank account before buying a pack of gum at a gas station.

"That curb couch looks pretty decent!"

Before you start judging me, just think about the last time you saw a piece of furniture at the end of someone's driveway. Don't try to tell me you didn't have some fleeting thought of, "Huh, that's not in too bad of shape."

We've all been there.
