First of all, I feel like I need to state the obvious: I love movies. This article isn’t intended to poke fun, quite the opposite. It’s designed to celebrate Zootopia — not chastise.
Below are 10+ Zootopia mistakes that fans didn’t catch. Keep your eyes open and your ears sharp, and most importantly — don’t let the cuteness fool you!
1. How did Judy change clothes so quickly?

As Judy looks forlornly into the microwave, staring at her box of Carrots for One, she appears to be wearing a pink turtleneck.
But as soon as she sits down to eat, she’s back to wearing the same old blue uniform.
While we’re on the topic, how did Judy even have the box of Carrots for One?

Take a look around — there’s no fridge to be seen. Also, Judy didn’t enter her apartment with any food bags or boxes whatsoever.
Does Judy do Instacart? I guess maybe that would explain it?
2. What time is it?

Take a look at the time display on the top of Judy’s iPhone. It’s a little hard to make out, but when she hits the hangup button the display reads 8:40 PM.
When the camera cuts away and Judy turns her phone over, the time display now reads 9:44 PM.
3. Dawn’s math skills need some serious work.

Near the end of the film, Dawn is speaking with Judy and Nick. She says that ‘prey’ outnumber ‘predators’ 10:1 but then in the same breath says that ‘prey’ make up 90% of Zootopia .
Shouldn’t it be 9:1, then?
4. Thank you, and goodnight?

During Judy’s performance at the Carrot Days festival, she closes by thanking the audience and wishing them goodnight.
But in the very next scene, as Judy leaves the tent with her parents, it’s broad daylight.
5. Where did that donut come from?
Watch as Judy and Clawhauser are speaking at his desk. When the scene begins, there’s no donut wedged in his neck.
But a few quick camera cuts and all of a sudden, there’s a chocolate dip sitting on his collar.
6. Something’s not quite right with Judy’s phone.

Take a look at the table as Judy begins to peel the plastic off the top of her TV dinner. As you can see, there’s nothing in the top right corner.
But when the camera zooms out, all of a sudden there’s Judy’s cellphone.
7. Yax isn’t a naturalist.

Remember Yax? How could you not? It’s kind of hard to forget a giant talking naked Yak.
In one scene, Yax refers to himself as a naturalist. He should have said naturist , which is the proper term for someone who prefers to live their life in the buff.
8. How does Judy manage to change positions while she’s stuck in cement?

When Judy becomes stuck in the cement, she’s facing Nick head-on.
Being that this is cement, and Judy is in it up past her knees, she clearly has no means of escaping on her own.
But then right after Nick walks away, somehow Judy is now standing facing the street?!

This one is mildly forgivable. If they didn’t shift Judy’s positioning, then Nick would have been talking to her back.
Still, at the very least they could have just shown her struggle to free herself only to wind up standing sideways. Problem solved.
9. What happened to Clawhauser’s bowl of cereal?

On Judy’s first day, she walks into the police station as Clawhauser is enjoying a very full bowl of Lucky Chomps.
When the camera cuts to Judy and then back to Clawhauser, the bowl has someone emptied itself.
10. How did Judy move so quickly?

As a large, runaway donut rolls down the street, it appears that a poor shrew is about to meet her untimely demise. Judy isn’t even in the shot.
Yet at the last minute, somehow she appears to catch the donut and save the day.
11. Clawhauser’s nameplate keeps switching sides.

This happens as he’s having his conversation with Mrs. Otterton at the front desk.
When the weasel rolls in, attached to the giant donut, you’ll see the plate move from right to left, and then back again.
12. What’s going on with Judy’s walkie-talkie?

Take a look as Judy and Nick are being chased by Manchas. If you peer at Judy’s belt, you’ll notice that there’s no walkie-talkie that can be seen.
But as soon as the reinforcements arrive, the walkie is back in place.
13. Was Weaselton’s bag already in the room?

When Judy is bringing Weaselton into the police station, you can clearly see that his bag is nowhere to be found.
But when we see Judy inside Bogo’s office, somehow the bag is right there?
